Another Banger; however, what exactly are the different air space classes? Do these definitions also vary from country to country?

Aviation enthusiast and not a pilot here, 2;24, are VMC separation data really expressed as a mix of imperial and metric measurements? If so why? Hmm.. CASA airspace structure specs does indeed detail separations in such manner. I’m guessing altimeters (vertical distances) are calibrated in feet but maps (horizontal distances) are expressed in metres/kilometers. Though if you are capable of determining vertical separation accurately in imperial feet, why wouldn’t one be capable of doing so in the horizontal plane? Puzzling 🤔

Great video. I am shortly attending powered paragliding training to obtain my endorsement. I am trying to get my head around the airspace requirements for PPG flight. From what I understand, in Australia, we are permitted to fly VFR in Class G or Class E airspace below 10,000 feet. Can you expand on what the different classes are? And how they correspond to the Low EnRoute Charts so we can understand where we are permitted to fly?
