Looks promising but why isn't the paint coming off the metal ferrule?
@Vmssupplies Жыл бұрын
Great question! The ferrule is not covered in paint, it's oxidized, we used this brush to blacken metal tracks. This type of coloration is only removed mechanically. Video where we used the same brushes when they were new: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmaslaB5eax2gbcsi=FCUndtI8cLUoUbbS

Will this work on brushes that have been used to apply varnish?

What about high-quality brushes with natural Kolinsky sable (like Winsor & Newton, Artis Opus)? Won't they be harmed in the long term?
@Vmssupplies Жыл бұрын
Hello, The brushes we show in the video are German Kolibri Pure Red Sable (Echt Rotmarder) brushes. So no worries here. 😉

Assuming they also work with acrylics? Once "restored" do you recommend a brush soap/conditioner to remove traces of product?
@Vmssupplies Жыл бұрын
Yes this works with acrylics. You can rinse with water or paint thinner, you can also use regular dish washing fluid and water if you like, it's not that hard to remove though, water will be sufficient.
