Really interesting, and mirrors my own experiences when I was boxing in my late teens/early twenties. I was reading a lot of Ross Enamait's training and conditioning programmes, and mis-interpreted what he was saying as "HIIT is just better for boxing because it's 3 mins of intense activity with short recovery periods, do loads of that and you'll be set". It helped my body adapt to the intensity of what I was doing, for sure, but I was definitely lacking that aerobic base which should have been the foundation of my athletic performance. It's ironic in a way, because "traditional" boxing training famously includes lots of road work, but by looking for a more "scientific" way to train I ended up overlooking something quite obvious.

As a pro triathlete...why do you use apple watch ultra instead of something like garmin 965 or suutno race or any other sports watch🤔🤔. I don't really see a AW Ultra as a sports watch. There are a ton of sports features that are missing on a Apple Watch. I'm really curious why do you use it instead of a proper sports watch. Oh and one more thing....how do you use garmin edge with AW U. I bought myself Series 9 and i don't know if I've made a mistake or not...😛
