Still like these videos, been watching for at least 2 years now and the demos and footage is excellent. Like the longer videos. Keep them coming.

I have to say, i do enjoy your demolition videos esp., this one. This is one of the better operators i`ve seen who separates all the steel and aluminium as he goes along. Very efficient and productive. Thanks for uploading.

KLM817 , that would be a great collector's item. Somebody would pay good money for it.

I’m surprised they were allowed to bust that vending machine like that without capturing the refrigerant. That is, unless that was taken care of already.

A lot of buildings are being torn down in Montgomery county as many places are being redeveloped to mixed use.

32:00 Coke machine destruction. I trust the refrigerant had been properly extracted?
@brendajanes41394 жыл бұрын
I have a feeling that it wasn't, considering that I have seen many fluorescent lamps shattering during this demo.

This operator acts like he's afraid to work that claw, that machine is made to work, he should just work the heck out of it.
@CheswicksCigarettes4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's hard watching other operators sometimes. I understand he's separating materials but shit get me in there! Unless the idea is to charge the client by the hour for run time. And someone would've paid for that sign!

:)...I asked if he was brain damaged...What idiot moves he's making! Using the machine to move one single piece of metal and stuff...Total idiot...

GOSH!!!! That's a lot of recycling material!!!!
@richardcline13374 жыл бұрын
Do they recycle any of the materials, metal and such from these buildings?
@JohnZWetmore4 жыл бұрын
The debris is typically sorted into three things: metal to get melted down into new metal, concrete and masonry to get crushed and use as a sub-base for paving, and everything else to go to a landfill.

Taking down the Saab dealership , it's Saabing when you are destroying it. Get it Saabing.

It's a good thing I do not work in demolitions; my backyard would be full of crap I think are interesting or worth something. Like the Coke machine and the poor NISSAN sign! That sign was worth likely close to a grand!

And no concrete in them either, but then again, it's usually how these commercial buildings is designed to be constructed; fast and cheap with the emphasis on cheap.
@jasinere354 жыл бұрын
before demolition i would have stripped it out so that only the shell remains
@nursejackie88914 жыл бұрын
Unless it’s in a situation where a building is already falling down, wouldn’t it be nice if these property owners/demolition companies would allow the general public and/or nonprofits to come in before the demolition begins to salvage what could be of use or repurposed? Obviously signing a waiver would be needed for legal purposes, but I would think it could be beneficial to all parties involved especially with there being less waste going into the landfill.
@brendajanes41394 жыл бұрын
I so agree with you! I could have used those 8' lamps that were probably still good! Or other items that could be repurposed some how.

Here’s what I don’t get why do they have to nitpick around just to demolish the buildings
@jeremiaheddy20344 жыл бұрын
I say just be a bull in a China shop
@JohnZWetmore4 жыл бұрын
It is common practice to keep the metal, masonry, and other material separate so they can be trucked off to three separate locations. It's easier to do during demolition than to try to sort them out afterwards, even though it slows things down.

Don't like this, more ads than video. Try again sometime. Every 15 to 20 seconds there is an ad, that ain't cool.
@Bannimann24 жыл бұрын
Use an ad blocker... And it's not the youtubers fault. KZbin have changed their rules - again - and throwing ad's in every video like crazy.
@marcmcdonald28883 жыл бұрын
I didn't get ads every 15 to 20 seconds. I did get ads but nowhere that frequently
