1. Ailee, of course. Consistently supported up to F5, and also her F#5 in this video. 2. Hyorin (during 2013) has consistent RESONANCE til F5 (One Way Love). Luna-- consistently supported/resonant til Eb5. Luna and Hyorin both have good placement above their supported range in belts. 3. Solar-- she's supported til C#5 with resonance. But she pushes her voice too much. She sound shout-y because of the pushing. And her tone loses its beauty because of the pushing.

Solar doesn't vibrato on her held notes and for Luna it felt like she was straining to hit some notes, namely the D5. Both Ailee and Hyorin have great technique and vibrato is spot on. I prefer Ailee because while Hyorin has great technique I'm not partial to her rasp and breaks which seems to be a stylist thing more than it is her being a bad vocalist, which she's not but the F5 didn't sound very good and whether it was the song or she wasn't feeling well, I wouldn't know but she seemed to hit the F#5 fine. I still prefer Ailee, she uses healthy technique to hit high notes, her vibrato is beautiful, and she makes the high notes sound almost lower and to the point where it almost looks extremely easy with how she belts them out.

Ailee is the only one who fully supported all these notes. Luna has such a warm, clear tone and is criminally underrated. Hyorin is a good singer but her extreme huskiness gets in the way of her technique sometimes. She sounds too squeaky and constricted. I can't listen to her for too long. Solar...has zero vibrato on her high notes and it always sounds like she's shouting, not belting. I actually strongly dislike her style. So, Ailee - Luna - - Hyolyn - - - - Solar

I literally don't know how to put on a ranking here. I found people considered supprted ranges, vibrato, resonance, and etc. But I cannot separate techinical discussion from voice itself. My ears just prefer Solar's belting voice as it is full, rounded, and clean. It is a bit on the heavy side it does not sound dark. It is just more pleasant to my ears and I am totally biased. Someone pointed out after C#5 she loses her tone but I don't feel that much except F#5 (My ears are bad). However, at least to E5, she seems to have improved in MMM's killing voice I Miss You (E5). Ailee is indeed in another level but I found that her voice is too heavy for me. Hyorin and Luna are too bright and light for me. For me, when hearing high notes, if there is too much vibrato or too screechy, it is less pleasant.

You're so funny lol. Actually only Ailee and Wendy (Red Velvet) have a whistle register among kpop idols. Hyorin's G#6 was a falsetto not a whistle note. Ailee reached a C7 in a whistle register recently tho. Ailee doesn't copy Hyorin nor anyone else. Hyorin and Ailee are friends and they have different styles of singing. People choose Ailee in this battle cuz she was the only one here who supports all the notes. Hyorin's E5, F5 and F#5 were strained here. If you don't know much about vocal pedagogy please don't judge. If Ailee didn't have a powerful voice she would be still better bc her vocal technique is better especially now (Hyorin's regressed). I do like Hyorin. She's my bias in Sistar but objectively Ailee is a better vocalist. You can prefer Hyorin and hate Ailee but you can't deny the facts 😉

Personally, i don't like how Hyorin sounds, good technique but is a little annoying. Ailee is really good but after hearing a lot, is quite boring. Solar doesn't need a vibrato to slay everytime she open her mouth. And Luna, as an Idol, impress me to the point of pleasing my ears each time, and i love her gestures.
