Jordan Smith is an amazing singer! His voice is so smooth. They recorded the whole album again in October of 2023 live! It is hard to believe but even bigger. They also did a live concert at the Grand ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee.

Tommee Profit is one of my favorite composers of this generation. He combines styles a different types of music genres amazingly and Jordan was the perfect fit to perfom this song.❤

I absolutely love it! I’m wondering if you have ever heard Morisette Amon? She’s a phenomenal singer from the Philippines and she’s got a lot of great songs starting with a cover in Live Wish bus performance of the song Rise Up ( that made the original singer request to delete her singing cz it caused so much rift in KZbin claiming Morisette did a better rendition than the original). Anyway, you can that one up and her Akin ka na Lang song with English translation. Or if you love Broadway style, she sang Defying Gravity and she did defy it with her rendition. Enjoy! ❤

@@JohanBesterYourVocalCoach I don't know how Lukas is live, but I think Dermot is just as good live as he is in music videos. I don't know vocals at anywhere near your level, so I could easily be wrong though. They're artists who's music gives me goosebumps either way. Great channel you have here!

I agree, usually that's not the case so even I was amazed that the live version superceded the audio one!

I mean...come on. Very very few operatic tenors can get up to a Eb5 with a full voice and few even sing above C5 for most of their career. Jordan has an exceptionally high tenor voice. A huge part of that is just nature. The same reason difference vocal fachs exist. Telling your students "it's not too high" may be reasonable advice in some cases depending on skill level, but if we're up into the highest parts of the tenor voice, let alone more than a full tone above what is comfortable for even the upper percentiles of tenor talent, it probably is too high. You can't just teach or train your way to an Eb5. The odds are that that is indeed simply too high.
