Vouch for this. I almost didn't even recognize Josh's voice in 2 minus 1, it was so diffirent than what he normally sings. But it works so well for him and i would love to hear him sing more rock style. Also Hip Hop units version of Hug got me thinking that mingyu's voice is really well suited for rock as well!

Since you mentioned DK and Seungkwan, I would really recommend you to react to Kidult and To You. It has such great vocal ranges and you could really hear their vocal prowess. Even the rappers are singing so nicely.

I really liked this reaction vid! Even though it's your first time reacting to svt, you could immediately point out their differences so accurately, it took me many many songs to be able to do something even close to that. Not suprising from a vocal coach after all!! And also, most of the time when names are romanized from korean to english, 'eo' is pronounced just 'o' ^^

I just want to mention something, seventeen are extremely talented 😁 they have three units in the group. First, the dance line with Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino who take care of creating the choreography for the group. Then you have the rap line formed by mingyu, wonwoo, s.coups and vernon who write the rap parts ( and sometimes regular lyrics too). Finally the vocal unit, with woozi, joshua, seungkwan DK and jeonghan who are in charge of the vocals and I will mention woozi twice because he really is the genius behind seventeen he is the one writing most of their songs 😊

They are a self-producing idol and they are one of the influential groups in kpop. They spearheaded a lot of things during their generation that is now followed by 4th generation groups. Seventeen have amazing (and quite underrated) vocals which get buried by their top-tier dancing and choreography. Their Vocal team has a really nice blend of vocal types, from more stylistic to more technical singers. I would love to see a reaction (and vocal analysis) to "Same Dream, Same Mind, Same Night", it's a throwback to 90's R&B ballad and has gorgeous vocals 😍

Seventeen are so amazing Kat. They do so many kinds of songs, and they are most known for their amazing choreography. The lyrics are written quite often by Woozi and Hoshi choreographs a lot. If you want to hear them more separately, I recommend more unit songs like Habit, for example the performance unit has Lilili Yabbay. I also recommend songs like Don’t Wanna Cry, Fallin Flower, Not Alone, Anyone, Rock With You, Ready for Love, Second Life and My My. They have an extensive discography and every album has great songs. Any song you pick, you won’t be disappointed. Though you may find songs that are complete opposites, lol. Individual members also have songs, but I recommend waiting on those until you know more about the whole group. ❤ - Ry_Noona

Thank you for reacting to SEVENTEEN! They are my ultimates, so I love to see knowledgeable people appreciate them! I am not a singer nor a musician but I love music. I really love that you explained so much of the technical aspect to the song and the vocals. I would love to see you react to more of their music. I see lots of comments explaining details about SVT and their voices, so I won't do that. But I will point out that this is their first English release as a whole group, so they are not as comfortable singing in English. Joshua, however, is American, so he is a native speaker. And Vernon's mom is American and he was born in the US, so he also speaks English fluently. Two songs I love are To You and Together.

If you want to focus on their voices individually, i guess i shall recommend you their Rolling Stone performance in 2021. They performed their unit songs Pinwheel (vocal unit), Trauma (Hiphop unit), & Lilili Yabbay (Performance unit). And also, Ready to Love (open mic), Rock With You (rock version) & All My Love (acoustic version) would be a great addition as well. Perhaps this performances will better showcase their live vocals on your next reaction if you plan to do so😅.
