Hi Nina, it would mean a lot to me if you could give me your commentary about an audio i recorded trying to sing, i have never sing in my life which means i'm terrible and do not know how to sing but years ago i recorded a video of me singing well i mean trying to sing and uploaded it to see if someone can tell me if i am totally not for this and have no remaining hopes to start singing so i can quit and not continuing forward to something that is impossible for me Please listen to it, it's only a few seconds long and please expect that i'm bad cause i never sang in my life, i just want to know if there is hope to fix my voice. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXjRZp2kjNOkpdksi=o5lJ1F2K8XYZm12g

This is such a great rendition of this song within an amazing concert. I think a shout out to Silja Sol for providing impeccable harmonies are in order. I very much agree with you about the strong medieval feeling. I envision her frozen breath in the dark forest night near the castle as her lantern illuminates soft snowflakes drifting down around her Especially during that drone call and response.

It's been such a delight to have followed Aurora for the last eight years and see where she is now, and then revisit her earlier work and remember how she struck me the first time. Love from Norway Nina.

you spoke about how the blue light really set the tone for the song. The blue lighting was there for all songs in this concert except for 1, and it was her song called "Murder Song". In that song all the lights suddenly shifted to red, and it gave the whole performance a truly haunting effect.

This concert is a masterpiece. The songs have been arranged to fit the acoustics of the cathedral and to take advantage of the available musicians. Dropping the backing to a minimum, or nothing, shapes them so well. What a special person she is.

Another awesome performance from this amazing concert! Favorite song from this concert is probably "Soft Universe," but there are several others (including "Winter Bird") that are very close behind. This concert is magic from start to finish. I hope at some point you're able to watch the entire thing in one sitting, because it really is something special, in its entirety.

My first encounter with this song was the Official Music Video, changed my view on Interpretive Dance. But I love the majesty imparted by the organ in this version. For more Medieval vibes, try:- 'AURORA - Scarborough Fair' : kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnanpJJphat8g68 For more of her voice soaring, you need:- 'AURORA - Take Me Back Home - BBC Proms 2022. I remember how I felt..... It was 28 desember 2017, and there was nothing interesting on the tv. So I reluctant agreed to see the concert. I did not like this wierdo artist, she acted and talked in a strange way that made me uncomfortable. I remember that I after the concert was stunned, but my fear for "strange" was too high so I quickly forgot all about it.... Fast forward to the pandemic, I was sick of tv/netflix/series, so I desided I would support Norwegian artists by exploring their music (and buying what I liked). I dived deep and found / rediscovered Sigrid, Skaar, Kurt, and Aurora. I started to really check out the backstory, and the messages, and liked all these artists, but DEEPEST of them all I fell for Auroras magic. (Her art, not the person 😂 ) I was mostly influenced by Adam Straughan, the way he "analysed" her, but also others and my own discovery. So from a person that was in a way afraid of "strange and wierd", to a person that loves it. I dont like everything, but I love the diversity! From a person that think Aurora was a wierdo that made me uncomfortable, to a person that think we are all wierdos in our own way, and that Auroras magic is a gift to humanity.❤ And the Nidarosdomen concert is in my mind the greatest concert of all time, I have seen it SO many times. I eaven use it as a audio "playlist".

It is interesting Nina, that you say that this song has a medieval feel. Yet for the official video of the song, Aurora chose to be very modern and she is filmed being wrapped in a cocoon by three drones. Here is the official video and also a video showing the making of the official video (a collaboration between Aurora, her production team and the Robotics Department of Carnegie Mellon University), (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpvIkJyIeqafi6M), (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpS5oIZsedV5nJo). I hope that you can find the time to watch and enjoy them.

Not my favorite Aurora song in general, but perhaps the best arrangement of instrumentals on this concert, brings out the best of it. It also pairs very well in the concert, with her cover of "Walking in the air" that follows. Both are very dreamy/fantasy-like and kind of sad, but the first is more introvert and complex, while the second is more simple and outrovert, as if it was too tiresome to be fully depressed.

Hello Nina Schofield I like to request BAND-MAID ‘Don't you tell ME’ official live video please! Could you also give me a shoutout for introducing them to you? These ladies have 40M views on reaction channels alone so If you don’t mind thousands of rock and metal heads coming to your channel you may want to check em out!
