Interesting mix of different styles of Mexican music. The accordian is associated with Norteña music played in the northern part of Mexico, Norteña means of the north. Combias are more jungle type of music with the drums heavy influence and a little Ranchera or folk music with the horns emphasis. I enjoyed everything, including your surprise at the style of music!
