I’m going to reference back to May 24, 2023, when Dimash released a music video for this song (not sure if Mansur was involved at that time or not) on Dimash’s 29th birthday. The video (along with the lyrics and singing) provides so much context visually with videos from throughout Dimash’s life. It was also very close to when Dimash’s beloved grandfather passed. Very poignant. Dimash has been displaying even more vocal “tricks” in recent songs, gravitating towards very bluesy and jazz-centric sounds while maintaining his awesome ability to keep us on our toes. Always enjoy your appreciation of Dimash’s abilities. Cheers from Canada!

I always enjoy your reviews; thank you! This is such a beautiful song - and marks the first time Dimash has both composed the music and written the lyrics himself! (Presumably you haven’t seen the other version of this - a ‘mood video’ as a gift to the Dears on Dimash’s last birthday?) Btw, I think the pronunciation of Omir is closer to ‘Oo-mer’ than Oo-mar .. P.S. Both the original videos mentioned have decent English subtitles available, as is usual on his channel. P.P.S. Please ignore any trolls, who don’t speak for the vast majority of Dears …

Nina, PLEASE react to his newest music video titled When I've Got You. It has to be the video because it has a lot that isn't in the Live. And be sure to freeze the video to read the newspaper headline to understand. Also, you don't HAVE to react to the credits at the end but PLEASE watch and read them to see how many roles Dimash and his dad Kanat played in the video. You will also understand the reason for the WORD at the start of the video when you see the last credit! 🎶🎶😉😉👱♀👱♀👗👗👠👠❤❤

👉 Dimash said: “Omir (Eng. Life) - It is a work whose melody and lyrics first emerged from my inner world. A piece of music on the occasion of my birthday. I dedicate it to all my listeners who encouraged me to stand against both the fierce waves on the water surface and the raging storm. This work is about my life.” What a wonderful gift and thank you from Dimash to us dears on his birthday (May 24, 2023). The wonderful, gentle melody and also the profound words are his own… and of course his deep touching voice. ... And almost a year later, he sings this song again, playing the piano and his brother Mansur (17) accompanies him on the guitar. I feel like I'm alone in the room with these two talented musicians and beautiful people, and Dimash and Mansur are playing this song just for me… My heart is full of joy. Maybe Dimash's 'little' brother will follow in his footsteps and we'll hear more from him soon. Dimash is not only a great artist, a megastar, he is also a very self-reflective person, an absolute philanthropist. Dimash makes everyone, young and old, think about themselves with his music, his deeds for the people and his humble manner. His singing heals souls and makes listeners wish to be a better person. It's unique... and that's why we love Dimash. * Dimash Qudaibergen 2023 MV - Өмір/ Life - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKa8iWxpn7mqhsU * Art video of some Dears on Dimash's birthday: The Story Of One Dream - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpvWiXpvgK2siLM * DIMASH & MANSUR QUDAIBERGEN "OMIR" LIVE (2024) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2msiKh-eMd_o8k

Beautiful emotional reaction and analysis! ❤😊 Your analysis of the chords was really interesting as well! 😊 I kinda wish you would have had the lyrics as subtitles, because the music changes and contrasts with the lyrics. 🥰 But maybe it’s for the better, because the lyrics make it impossible not to cry and to pay attention to the music. ❤😅

If you watch this song with the original video that he released for his fans last year on his birthday you will see pictures from his life that relate to the lyrics and his feelings about his life. The strained sound which you so liked in the latter part of his song coincided with his appearance on the American show ‘The Worlds Best’ which was quite traumatic for him as he withdrew front the contest due to awkward circumstances and it was not well received by the Shows ‘star’ panelist.. thank you for reacting to this and I hope you try the video version to hear the relationship to his life❤️❤️❤️

This is an original song (music and lyrics) by Dimash himself, who gifted this song to his fans on May 24, 2023, on his birthday! The song talks about "life" and how grateful and passionate he is for that life! He also begs that life not make him suffer or regret! Here Dimash sings accompanied by his brother Mansur (Abilmansur) who is a multi-instrumentalist and they have already played together on the song "Together" written by Mansur himself!

I am always drawn to your commentaries and analyses. Besides the run that you refer to there are also the chord progressions overall that draws me in to want to listen to this song. I like especially that it's only these two instruments involved, and with Mansur bringing in percussion at the right time! A stunning composition. Also, there are a few things that indicate that you are a true "Session Musician". No need to go into details as to what those are. I love that aspect of you very much, for sure. ❤

Aw great Nina totally agree with you on some of those runs catches the emotions. After all great music does that. He used I think augmented & diminished minors & majors with Mansur. You will hear a kind of growl if you listen back near the end when Dimash falls underwater in the "story of one sky". Can I suggest you review & listen to a fellow English gal. It's here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hoG2hXVtmZhjppYsi=0o-9A3VQqOpWRLUm it's a Johnny Cash cover. Lolli is from Kent, she's funny & talented & lovely just like you. She goes under the name "the fairy voice mother". The thing about ye singers is that ye are not competing because in a global platform people will resonate with various personality style & in the case of singers teaching ye will have stories to tell, collaboration possibilities & knowing the challenge of the music industry will be supporters of each other. I love that about vocal teacher singers & like many I watch & learn from you all. Nina I always feel like you have an inner critic holding you back on screen, I just get that sense, I could be wrong, that you would benefit from sending on a break so you can really let go more & so your full personality comes through as it is lovely. Particularly not just the technical but how highlights makes you feel. So I'd encourage you to be bolder Nina in that sense of being "feeling more into what you discuss, and so forth " send the holding back, doubt , maybe nerves ,inner critic on holidays. Your channel will benefit, in flow, what you feel. Give Lolli Wren a review. She's great just like you. Her background was dance until she had an injury. She has to have an operation I think so experiences pain sometimes that can be tough on mental health. It's always good to have vocal coach performing friends. They can review your own songs too, give feedback. It's all good really 😊

Dimash Qudaibergen/Maestro PlacidoDomingo(83 old)-Pearl Fishers Duet, kzbin.info/www/bejne/morQdpahf89rqc0&start_radio=1 This is a dream come true for Dimash. He shared that, at the age of 5, he had a VHS of a concert by Maestro Domingo. He dreamed from then to now to meet and work with the Maestro. This was part of a program called Virtuosos, which supports young classical artists. Dimash was invited to be a judge on the program by Maestro Domingo. I know he appreciated the opportunity to support young artists. We are all do proud of him and hope all his dreams come true. Dimash learned this in one day and had only one rehearsal.

Dimash composed Omir. Mansur is simply being included in performances everywhere. I guess to give him a leg-up in his career. It frustrates me a bit that it is nearly expected of Dears to be his fans too. I'm not a supporter of this concept. And the number of hate responses I get to this post will show how much the pressure is to embrace him. Or perhaps everyone will refrain so that it's not apparent 😅
@PatriciaPalmer-o3e8 ай бұрын
❗It's not a leg up, it's advanced learning and training for someone gifted as Dimash knows. You've got effrontery, I'll give you that. His ability on the acoustic guitar as are his on the keyboard, dombra, drums, and composition, all outstanding at 17. MANSUR composed the music and Dimash performed on the video Together, he is accomplished enough to go on tour and perform with Dimash, the ultimate perfectionist, both from 3 generations of famous vocalists and musicians. In addition to the finest education, this is how these artists train, as Dimash's parents did with him. You wouldn't give it a second thought if it wasn't Dimash and yet you doubt his judgment in a performance partner and feel put upon. That isn't a fan, it's an unqualified critic.
@BibiNabat-gu2ch8 ай бұрын
And I didn’t refrain from commenting! I agree that it would be wrong to “expect” being a “fan” of mansour! I mean we of course like him very much because he is Dimash’s brother and all his family are very good and nice people, however, being a “fan” is different! We love and adore Dimash because of his voice, artistry AND for the absolutely beautiful human being that he is! This doesn’t mean we ought to become “fan” of his musical friends, acquaintances or family members! We obviously respect them though. Maybe mansour will grow up to become an spectacular musician and his type of music( what ever it may grow to be), will lead to him becoming popular and successful( we wish all the future success for him in his career), and only then can we decide if we are a “fan”.
@EllanaTs8 ай бұрын
I don’t feel that Dears are expected to be Mansur’s fans too. I do enjoy his guitar playing, though. Also, who would help you in the world if not an older sibling? I am pretty sure Dimash is happy to do that. If roles were reversed, Mansur would do the same.
@EllaSilentDragon8 ай бұрын
Or maybe some of us are genuinely in awe of what Mansur is capable of at his young age. 😜 I don’t feel pressured to be his fan. I have never been a real fan of anyone until I heard Dimash. But I certainly loved other musicians. And Mansur is showing sings of great things to come. 🤩 If he were mediocre I just wouldn’t mention him. 😉
@MsLucy4ever8 ай бұрын
I don't think it is expected of us to be Mansur's fans. He is collaborating with Dimash in some things, that's all. Are you a fan of all the people that collaborates with him? I liked very much his rendition here, and when he plays the dombra with Dimash. I wasn't too fond of Together, I think that it is just an ok song and don't listen to it often, but I must admit I liked it more than some of the songs Igor Krutoy composed for Dimash. And why Dimash would not be able to work with his brother? His whole family is involved in his career, and he wants it that way. You can be a fan of whoever you want, and Dimash also can make music with whoever he wants to.

❗️Hey hey hey, what is this rude attitude? There are thousands of artists who all deserve exposure. And these people built their channels over time by reacting to a myriad of artists. Are you really so arrogant and egotistical that you think Dears make up the hundreds or thousands of followers they have? Where do you get your statistical data from? 80% seems very specific. And you accuse her of not reacting to him in the comments of a reaction to him. I can't believe I have to point that irony out to you. I think you should either apologise for your remarks, or delete your comment.
