That was a beautiful performance..He sang with so much respect to those children..I agree kids don't seem to know they should be scared or nervous..a lot of adults would be intimidated by his amazing talent...his control of the softer side of his voice was awesome...thanks for sharing your insight with us ...Karl from eastern Canada❤❤❤👍👍👍

What Dimash did in this song was impressive: He gave the kids the spotlight! He let them open the song, accommodated themselves to their limitations, led them, played a measured solo, prepared a "bed" for the children to shine and finished by tucking them in! There may be more beautiful, more technical, more touching versions... But no one can dispute that this version warms our hearts and souls through its simplicity and commitment to little ones!

Oh! This is endearing. I agree, DQ's deep voice is clear and rich, all his registers and color of his voice sound outstanding, how huge this singer is! Well, singer, composer, producer,.... Furthermore in this performance I loved how he adapts his way of singing, doing it very delicately and softly when he sings accompanied by the children's choir, he is always generous on stage. Thanks Nina, I liked your analysis once again 👏👋

@@ninaschofield Yes he is...but he is hardly alone in this. The praising of Dimash for what is really by many just considered basic professionalism is getting over the top here.

Aloha Nina! I really learn from your reaction and mahalo for I appreciate it! We all know that Dimash is always great with whoever is on stage with him! Whether I’d be Placido Domingo in the Pearl’s Fishers Duet, Wu Tong in Jasmine Flower or even Tia in We Are the World! He is always ready to share the stage, this is his character! We all love him for being the exemplary and beautiful person that he obviously is! Love from Hawaii! Have you reacted to his Neverland (pirate ship stage) or The Meaning of Eternity yet? I think you will like his fun and soft and heavenly tone.

Beauty and Harmony... And Dimash showed it with children choir
@matthewgoodA12064 ай бұрын
That’s completely correct- Dimash allowed the children’s choir to have their spotlight time, as he should. He definitely practiced vocal restraint. Even with his unreal range, tremendous vocal control, and ability to sing a plethora of genres, he held back. And that just speaks to his professionalism and humility- regarded by many as the world’s greatest vocalist, he still knew perfectly well to give a fair performance that allowed all the voices to shine.

Loved your reaction... Dimash is the most generous vocalist I have heard... it's never about him, it's always the needs of the song, performance, who he is singing with and the audiences expectations, yes his performance and vocal prowess are next level but it's his humanity that shines so bright for me

I loved hearing you describe the fine points of his singing! Yes, he's such a role model of working with who he's singing with. I heard him in an interview once say his voice teachers didn't just teach him how to sing but how to live, and that is so apparent in every song he sings...he gives so much! My heart felt totally surrounded by soft pillows and love with this song! It's such a great song for these times, to support and love each other, especially to see how he's empowering the children!

Luv your reaction - spot on analysis..... Dimash's speaking voice is so much deeper as he's growing into his 30's & his singing voice has become absurdly rich & deep...... but the biggest take away is how proud his parents must be b/c he is calss personified every time - he never makes it about him - he always defers to children & the elderly - like Jesus except w/ the greatest vocal ability we've ever seen......

Singing with Dimash is always incredible. He never tries to outshine his partners, especially not children. He always holds back and lets them shine. It is a Kazakh tradition that adults always support children in what they do and never compete with them. He recently sang it this song on the show Beauty And Harmony in China. I love his deep voice so much. It's so warm and soft. But unfortunately the song is too short here. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

@@RosalindaHenry-hm5jc I don't mean any disrespect. And I certainly don't mean he is being offensive. It's my problem not his. I mean it in the sense that of all the singers who trigger misophonia he does it more often and most emphatically. I really do like his voice though so I listen to it. But when it sounds like I'm inside his mouth unfortunately I have to skip bits. I'm just overly sensitive to it. I wish I didn't react like that. I hope that clarifies my meaning.

One of it's members is Tomi P, who performed an a cappella cover of Hellfire (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Sweet Dreams (Eurythmics), Jericho (Iniko) and many more. His range is as insane as Dimash's, just starting much lower.

Those poor children must have been drilled phonetically to sing English words that don't sit terribly well in the mouths of babes - "when troubles come, and my heart burdened be"? Please! Still their pronunciation was very good, and better in fact than ... but I won't say it because, obviously, as every dear knows THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT! I was reminded of musical light entertainment shows of yore where Sir Harry Secombe would be roped in (literally) to boom away at a bunch of fidgety 5-8 year olds for some sugary confection served up on a Christmas Special. Sweet, very sweet, nice for the kids, nice for grannies, and I'm not in the target demographic. I kept on wishing that D would turn into Sohyang, but alas he never did.

You have a right to like someone else better. 😊 I, on the other hand, like Dimash’s version A LOT better than Zhou Shen‘s. Even though Zhou Shen has a beautiful voice, his version feels boring to me, and then a little uncomfortable at the end. (It might be because of the song. I never loved any version before. I didn’t dislike it either. But it always felt just ok to me.) Dimash on the other hand has great power and lots of dynamics in his voice while holding back at the same time. ❤ He even brought me to tears! How? 😭😅 And even though I didn’t care for that song before, now I can’t stop listening to it. He‘s incredible! 🎶🥰
