This songs lyrics resumed in few sentences are about young orphan bride crying out to the river which is the border between the world of the living people and the world of death that despite she has many friends at her marriage, she doesn't have parents who to bless her on that special day. In other words- a song of sobbing. As Diana herself is adopted, I think she feels the song very much with her heart. Can't wait for your reaction. The first pics are from "Tomorrow is a lie" where she overshadows Lara Fabian by far....and with the most intense stare in TV history. @The Charismatic Voice For having Dimash and Diana in "program" it is a must to react to Lara Fabian. Dimash loves her. She's his long time idol and in the happy end he could manage to sing with her. But first I recommend "Adagio" and "Je suis malade".

At 5 years old, Diana’s parents abandoned her. She grew up in a foster family. At 4.58 minutes of your video, she sings that she has no father and mother to give her advice. This song is folk, but Diana at that moment put all her experience into it, so the judges looked at each other and were in mild shock.

I know very little about “classical” opera, or singing. I do know “Folk, Native American,” and what’s called “Mountain Music” here in the Appalachians...THIS beautiful young lady is a very special GIFT to the rest of us. Two things in this world bring people together...the sharing of food, and music. Music is simply “storytelling.” If she were to be an ancestor of the same lineage as myself, she’d be a “shaman,” or an “oracle.” A holy person to be taught the history of her people through song... and storytelling. Whew, definitely blew me away...her young age be damned lol.

You would never know about her past just by watching her videos. Diana exudes so much confidence in her performances. I read that Igor Krutoy gave Diana an apartment in Moscow to live and continue her training. Hopefully, there is someone protecting the business side of her career.

This is an old Russian folk song. In the dark, the girl tells the river about her troubles, but the river is silent and does not show that she hears her and only continues to run like our life ... it is a mystical, philosophical and mysterious song. You're very expressive and very intense feeling as well. To us, Russians, intensive, quite often dramatic perception of the world is someting traditional Russian. By the way her chanting in that song has nothing to do to eiher Middle East or West Indian. It's more a mixture of folk Russian manner of singing and Tyva or Buryat shamanic troat singing. Tuva and Buryatia are Russia's regions. Diana [di'ana], not [dai'na]. She was 14 at that Song Contest in 2018. By the way she's an adopted girl. He real mother almost killed her in the bathtub when she was 3 years old. And then she threw Diana in the street in winter time. So then Diana spent 2 years in an orphanage, she didn't say a word, that is lost an ability of speech. When she was 5, she was adopted by an employee of this orphanage and on the advice of her friends she took her to a vocal teacher and so, and Diana first restored her singing, and then began to speak again. As you see, she has a special fate. She sings first and just then she speaks. In other words she needs to sing to just talk. So you can hear the results of her soul trauma in her manner of singing though she has actually overcome it and transforms it into something genious.

Performed: 1) Derniere Dance 2) This is a Mans' World 3) Rechenka 4) Tomorrow is a Lie - won the season Next year they organized a Superseason, gathered finalists of the previous two seasons. Diana performed: 1) Blizzard 2) Wicked Game 3) Human. Diana won Grand Prix.

Ооо, я ждал твою реакцию) Прям приятно видеть, как ты кайфуешь от выступлений Дианы. Но самое приятное, что ты кайфуешь, как профессионал, который знает, что такое контральто, принцип звучания йодля, понимаешь всю сложность технических элементов пения Дианы, а не просто, как некоторые, "о, смотри, у нее голос мужика, гыгы, лол". И твоя реакция такая эмоциональная и открытая, аж взгляд радуется. P.S.
