Julie Anne is labelled as Asia's Limitless Star as she is multi-talented! She is a singer (practically all genres including RAP), a dancer, an actress, commercial model, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, etc. She has been described by people in the music industry as pitch perfect! Well I do respect your opinion but I would still believe that if she did commit that "flat" then the original composer would have said it. This song was really meant to be a rock ballad and Julie just made another softer version which was praised by the composer, himself, who also said that Julie just maintained the sanctity of the song. By the way, Julie's voice has remained the same but since she underwent voice lessons with a renowned voice teacher (a Philippine icon), she developed techniques which you already know, I'm sure. Likewise, please refrain from mentioning another singer as a comparison. It does not bode well with the other singer's fanbase. Both Julie and the other singer are sort of "rivals" as they are being compared. There is still a huge number of Filipinos who are not into belters or those who can reach high notes as it can become a a novelty act instead of an art. Anyhow, this was an old video and Julie's vocal technique has definitely improved. Just my thoughts! Anyway, new sub here only because of Julie Anne!! Waiting for your next!

@@DrDanRobinson Absolutely! Actually, Julie Anne is more into R&B where she garnered multiple awards. She has also won Entertainer of the Year for 2021 and the youngest recipient of a Diamond Record award. I guess you should watch more of her performances to truly appreciate her artistry. Moreover, please do check out the Divas of the Queendom where Julie Anne is also a member. This is not a singing group per se but a regular segment in the Sunday variety show, All Out Sundays. There are 6 to 8 female singers performing in this 10 to 15 min. performance. If you want to see more of the Philippines female singers (most of them are under rated, you can see them here). @@DrDanRobinson She's average by location. They're really that good in the Philippines. When you go out to live events you will hear plenty of other people like Ms. Julie. Even if you go to a girlie bar with a live band on a weeknight, you may hear a singer this good. If you go to a bar with public karaoke, you probably will hear someone like this, and you might hear someone better. Most of the Filipinos you see winning singing contests internationally can't hack it in the Philippines. Everyone has a few neighbors that good.
