5000+ songs. The extra zero was an error. When asked Lata replied she never kept track of her songs and she had no idea from where Guinness book got it's information. Later on guinese book removed her name and put Asha since she had sung more songs than her. ( that they could trace)

I have to say this, you have no clue who you’re reacting to. She is the goddess Lata Mangeshkar. You should google her and you’ll be stunned. Pick out any of her song out of 30,000+ and you’ll be impeccable perfection. And you have to keep in mind that she started singing when there was nothing-no autotune, no heavy orchestra just the singing. It’s been over 7 decades and people still listen to her and won’t be able to sing even 40% of what she sang. So just a advice, please google the singer before reacting to them.
