Dimash performed “A Question of Honor” with Zarina Altynbayeva - a famous Kazakh soprano on the opening ceremony of the 28th Winter Universiade held in Almaty in Jan 2017. They sang both Italian and English in this song.

Nice and fair reaction. Super epic performance from Dimash and Zarina who are both Kazakh! This song is One of my favourites. By the way,You are all looking at the two amazing classically trained singers....Zarina Altynbayeva received Bachelor of Arts degrees from University of Westminster London in 2010 and in 2011 received her masters degree in music from Goldsmiths, University of London.In 2018, Zarina won 1st place, voice category, the Alion Baltic International music Festival (Estonia) and on the same year she won 1st place and Audience award,Voice section at the 16th Tokyo Music Competition..Whilst Dimash on the other hand, Studies contemporary Music(jazz and pop) at National University of Arts Astana where he graduated with major in Vocals (2018) and in 2020, Dimash received a Masters degree in composition and got a perfect score when defending his masters thesis and received a recommendation for admission to doctoral studies...regarding his awards, are Grand prix winner in Slavic bazaar in Belarus and 2nd place winner at I am singer 2017, where he became an overnight sensation and started his popularity internationally!With Dimash's exceptional vocal range of 6 octaves and 5 semitones, he can definitely sing along with the best female sopranos in the world, Dimash is the right choice and a perfect match!

You forgot Dimash Classical studies. Dimash has degrees in Vocals for both Opera and Contemporary Music. Prior to his 2018 graduation from Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana; Dimash graduated in 2014 from music institute of K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe, in Classical Music with Major in Vocal Opera (Bel Canto). Upon receiving his Master’s Degree in Composition in June 2020 from KNU, Dimash received recommendation for admission to doctoral studies in music.

You should do "Vocalise" or "Love of Tired Swans" Kiev concert version...I tend to dislike these suggestions of such performances for the obvious reasons where some reactors question if it's live or not and unfortunately, only few recommend his spectacular live concerts performances which are just mind-boggling ... thanks for the reaction.

Ken, it's so infrequently that we get to see you analyze Dimash's vocals, it's a shame that we don't get to see you do it this time. Obviously not a live performance, and this is more about the psychedelic production ("cue camels" cracked me up). Even the prerecorded soundtrack was more about Zarina than it was about Dimash. I hope someday, maybe sooner than later, we'll get to see you analyze another Dimash song/vocal. Thanks for doing the best you could with this one, you're so likeable.

Thank you. Dimash is playing the piano at the beginning. Dimash is great and I believe that is him at 7:45 going high as she is coming off the stairs. Her vibrato is a bit too quick, but her voice is good. Crazy production though! :)

Yes the high notes were Dimash and it was also him on the piano in the beginning. He flew back from China in between episodes 3&4 of the Singer programme especially for this, the opening of the 2017 Universidade, where students from all over the world come to compete in various events ❤

Yes you are right. The whistle notes are Dimash and playing the piano too. Oh, Dimash sometimes use fast vibrato on his whistle note and it sounds like cat bell but better one.

I went back to watch a Home Free video, where you got impressed by their beatboxer and said you love hearing non-traditional things people can do with their voice. I think you would appreciate MB14 vs Saro, a loopstation beatbox that showcases some absolutely insane live talent and live producing skills and it might be totally out of your normal music zone, but I think you would love it. They have 3 minutes on stage to create a song, with a loopstation where they can loop back their own voice on tracks and edit on the fly. Short explanation. And it would make for a great reaction video from you. It's under mb14 vs saro 2017 semi finals loopstation and it gets a whole new crowd of loopstation people to check out your channel too.
