I was NOT expecting this. I've been saying for a while that imagine if vocal coaches discovered some of the mind-blowing vocal techniques the beatbox community has discovered over the recent years. Stitch comes to mind. As does Bigman (his cover of 2002 is GORGEOUS).. River. Extremely good singers with some stupid crazy singing techniques. This made my day and I hope you'll do some of the others. ❤️❤️❤️

Loved this reaction! This year especially has been really good for beatboxers incorporating singing elements into their routines, but so far very few singers or vocal coaches have reacted to them. If you look up the GBB21 Solo Wildcards for Den, Show-Go, Stitch, and River they all incorporate singing in very innovative ways. Would love to hear more commentary on that aspect of their music.

I highly recommend you watch Stitch’s “Feels like Nothing” Wildcard. Probably the most control over a polyphonic voice I’ve ever seen, and he has a crazy effect he applies to the poly.

The thing is that you use a lot more than your tounge but they use the lips and create vibrations both with the voice and lips. Beatboxing becomes unique when you utilize what you can do. It is a beautiful art form

Hey Miss Rebecca, I love your reviews and reactions. I noticed you did one for I Still Love You from KISS; which is an awesome tune, so I thought I would recommend a couple. First, since you talked about playing and singing look for Eric Carr Young and Wasted! He was the drummer for KISS until he got sick, RIP and his voice will probably be one of the ones that make your eyes go big.
