Joey was the sweetest person. I had the privilege of having lunch with him once. Beautiful human being. When he passed Rammstein performed this song live in his honor with Flake singing. You can find audio recordings of it floating around.

Yeah, they were ending their shows with this song in English speaking countries while Mutter tour. The best version of performing this cover is from their concert in MSG in 2001. )

Stephen King had the Ramones over to his house while they were on your playing some shows in Maine and it was during this time that bassist Dee Dee Ramone wrote Pet Sematary in about five minutes. Dee Dee was such a prolific songwriter. His ability to encapsulate a depth of meaning and emotion yet in a way that is simple, or at least sounds simple is amazing.

Rammstein actually covered this song as a live performance , albeit keyboard Flake does the singing! They uploaded a remaster of it earlier this year on their official page "Pet Sematary (Live)" . Just the audio though It's in English but Flakes accent can be a bit hard to understand him in the verses 😅 , the chorus is fine though!

I love that Mr. King is a huge Ramones fan. In the original movie the trucker was jamming the Ramones when Gage wandered out onto the road.😊

Joey has a lot of vocals that break apart words. It's very cool and very Ramones. 'War- a- lords' - Nobody 'Kno-ows' - Something aint 'Ri-ight'. You can hear me 'Shou-out'. 🍻

Yes, it was written for the movie. Same misspelling of cemetery and all. One creative decision Stephen King was able to make for the movie adaptation of his book. Great book/movie, great song and great reaction🤘🏼🤌🏼🔥

John had no patience for overindulgence. The cheaper and quicker they could do something, the better. Dee Dee was on the verge of leaving the band at this point. His shivering and let's get this overwith attitude is glaring in this video. But pretty much the whole band understood that videos etc wouldn't help with selling records, so they did it out of obligation. Occasionally, they came up with a cool idea. Psycho Therapy and Something to Believe In were probably their most creative videos.

It's kind of peculiar that you make videos about rock/pop and you don't know super well-known facts like this one was filmed in a Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, that it was actually part of the Pet Sematary movie soundtrack or that it's highly improbable that a punk rock band is doing a multi-millonaire Ridley Scott-directed video. Plus, how funny that being a vocal coach, you have chosen to comment on a pterodcatyl t-shirt instead of Joey's vocals hahaha. I would've loved to read a comment that remotely shows something related to music, vocals or at least reflects some research but hey, I guess it's the era of "I do random-zero-planned-content content" haha.
