Justin, this is a very emotional patriotic song about a soldier answering the call to protect the motherland and in doing so, he is leaving not only his beloved but also his own mother behind in his village. He wishes the best for the beloved and consoles the mother that he is her 'chaand' or 'moon' and the moon shines forever so he, the 'chaand' will live forever in the memories even after sacrificing his life for the motherland.
