This was a superb performance from Grande. You can tell all of the hard work she’s put into performing and touring has paid off. Her new breathing technique really supports her enunciation which has become much stronger because of it. Loving her willingness to tweak certain notes and add little riffs in areas she normally wouldn’t do. It’s a nice change from her constantly adlibbing “baby” at the end of every lyric. She sounds like such a well rounded song bird. One who I know will be here for years to come and who I know will only keep improving with time. I love her.

Hi I’m a huge fan of ariana and am a vocal coach myself and I just give you a heads up that she was emotional in that performance because her Mommy and Daddy made up and they were together for a ver long time and the imagine she gets emotional especially on the meaning of it same with Thank u next. She is an artist that is an open book and in fee recent years she was really changing her technique in a more darker tone and other styles as well she was just experimenting I to agree that she was kinda lost a little bit also but after that she really came back and had more confidence than ever because of the fact she gained confidence in her whistle as well and some Falsettos which I was very happy. I’m not a professional vocal coach or anything. But I think Ariana is just so talented! Even in the earliest parts of her career! And she just continues to improve as a vocalist. I can’t get enough! I also just wanted to share what I believe to be her best improvements over the years. 1. Her tone is gorgeous. It always has been. But originally it seemed a bit lighter. And then during the dangerous woman tour, it seemed much darker. I’ve always loved her tone. But NOW I think it’s become the perfect blend of both her lighter and darker tone. She has so much control over it now! 2. Her vocal support has grown so much! And because of that, her vibrato has become so much stronger as well! And so much more prominent! I love it! She always tastefully uses it at the appropriate parts of her sustained notes and doesn’t overdo it. It just seems so balanced to me! Also I just wanna agree with some of the other comments. I obviously can’t speak for Ariana. But to me, she seemed emotional through this entire performance. That’s the only reason I think she may have had just a couple of hiccups here and there. And that’s totally understandable. She still was able to not only power through... but to SLAY a medley of 3 songs on the Grammy stage!! And even if her music isn’t your style, you can’t deny that she is just truly gifted and talented! :) ALSO!! Love your videos so much and I always look forward to new posts! 😊
