Tbh I'm not a huge fan of the tiny desk one like they have so many more better performances of them that show off their vocals better, for some reason they put a weird effects on their mics in the tiny desk one and it sound a bit autotuned. In the other ver uploaded by BTS themselves it sounds normal and good but then the official one from the tiny desk channel has the effect for some reason

for vocal performance i recommend "bts room live festa 2021" it's a medley of some of their songs from 2013 to 2021. i saw some people mention this one already but i also recommend their tiny desk set as a group as well as their fix you cover. personally i think bts concerts are the best concerts ever, if i had to choose one song for vocal performance i think i would choose "so what"! it's insane how much they're jumping around and still sound so perfect. for solo performances you might be interested in these: - j-hope lollapalooza set! One of the most iconic performances of Fake Love was also in conjunction with their song Idol (the performance of which was a middle finger to anyone saying they were becoming too westernized). The most live live version of Fake love would be from Permission to dance concert. I will try to put a link below. It has an 40sek intro of Blood sweat tears. Due to their intense dancing they often have a backtrack playing in the background, so they can take a breath in some parts, but in PTD concert the backtrack was hardly audible. With the choreo, it was an amazing performance 😮

For Live performances I recommend The Truth Untold. Just the 4 vocalists. There is one live performance of that song that is from the last day of their tour, and you can hear their vocal fatigue compared to their other performances, so I would recommend the stage mix. If you are not familiar with stage mixes, they take to audio from one performance and then edit together the best visual pieces of multiple performances. And I believe the stage mix for the truth untold includes the English subtitles, which incase you did’t know all BTS official music videos have English subtitles if you turn on the closed captions. But BTS live performances sometimes have captions and sometimes not, so it’s better to do a search for a video that includes English subtitles.

BTS isn't just "k-pop". They started from the bottom and became the greatest in world. Dynamite isn't the best song either, they did three pop songs in English to cheer the world up while in the pandemic. They didn't even write them. But you ARE listening to 7 fantastic voices who have each reached #1. They've won over 1000 awards, including AMAs and Billboards, and have been nominated for Grammys. Hard to beat. They have well over 350 songs in Korean or Japanese including solos, a dozen or so genres, write & produce, and paved the way for all these other groups, which you wouldn't otherwise have heard of. I have reservations about joining a patreon reactor until I've seen a few full reactions. Try for a full group, vocal line, a rap line, and solos, at least.

The majority of ARMY has knowledge of the story with in the mv of Fake Love which coincides with the BU which is an alternate Bangtan Universe that runs through many of BTS's songs. If you were to try and figure them out on your own you would get a major migraine. Until you get to know BTS, their back story, how they struggled, and how artistically talented they are you will not be able to grasp the concept of the BU. If you listen to ARMY's recommendations and follow the direction that they can lead you through the BTS rabbit hole you might be ready for the BU concept by the time they reunite in 2025 (LOL)

This video most definitely has a story. Technically it has two stories at the same time, and I could write a thesis paper on all the symbolism and deep meaning in this music video. If you want me to write a 10 page comment and explain it all I’m willing to do that, or you could go find an explanation video on KZbin that can explain everything for you. My favorite explanation video channel is called Bookish Theories and I’m pretty sure they have a Fake Love explanation.

Does the video have a story? 😂 Well, there is the story in the song, the concept for the set of 3 albums and also the MV is based on the fictional storyline, known as the Bangtan Universe, that runs through multiple MVs from several albums + short stories, notebooks, a Webtoon called Save Me and a mobile game! The song is about losing your true self to mould yourself to fit an ideal for someone else, and that is fake love that cannot last. The concept for the 3 albums of the Love Yourself (LY) trilogy starts with LY:Her which is the start of a relationship where you feel lobe is perfect and you are destined to be together. LY:Tear, which Fake Love is from, is when that love starts to tear apart, and LY:Answer is about realisation that first you must love yourself before you can truly love another. Then there is the Bangtan Universe fictional storyline which started with the MV for I Need You in 2015 and is still running today. In Fake Love we see each member locking themselves away from something they fear, for instance, water for Jimin, fire for Suga, etc. Jungkook looks on wanting to help them and eventually "unlocks" their fear by enabling each fear to come to each member, water gushes in on Jimin, fire bursts into the room for Suga. I will not explain further in case you decide to look into it further. Lyrics are a must for BTS. They are true poets or totally savage in rap. They are even better live than in the studio and they do all the choreo while singing live, no lip syncing. There are many performances with English Lyrics and I thoroughly recommend the channel Enjoy BTS More for high quality, English subbed live performances.

They will pose as a fan and post hateful nonsense in your comment with the goal of giving you a bad view of army and by extension the group themselves. These people aim who makes you stop reacting to BTS in order to somehow farther the success of the group they actually like. The second group of BTS haters are called solos these people only like one or a number of group members and not the whole group they tend to talk bad about the members they don't like. We all have our biases but the first and foremost rule of being in the Army is we love and respect all members equally. O o'clock, Your eyes tell, tiny desk concert is a great starting point always, Pied Piper, Dimple, Truth Untold, and House of cards are my suggestions. Most Army love to connect with reactors through the lyrics of their deep songs. I know it would make your videos long. Some reactors will read the lyrics prior or after and we dont mind if you pause to catch up on lyrics or to discuss the video, performance or their vocal range.. techniques etc. Just some constructive criticism.
