This performance didn’t have Jin’s triple high note, so I suggest looking at that one! It’s crazy! I have always felt like they all have these different sounds that I as an ARMY can really tell the difference between. Jin...the most underappreaciated sine of the whole vocal line. Jin has a gift of making you literally Feel the emotions in a song. They are all incredible. @@monikuntalgautom9164 it was no myth when this comment was written 2 years ago. In the past few years, Jin was/has been featured more with his stand alone vocals and has become more appreciated. He was previously used more as just background & blending vocals. He has always been on trend for visuals but not vocals. In fact it wasn't UNTIL Crystal Snow that more and more people stood up and said "What the heck?!?!...JIN" I am not a Jin solo....I'm OT7 all the way and this statement was in fact the truth back then. Epiphany helped Jin soar to new heights, I believe it made him feel more comfortable about his vocal abilities, more self assured.

His all solos is been trending on internet and iTunes... Only member Got silver voice from Grammy Pannel... Yess After Epiphany.. His solo stans is been increased immensely... Sky Johnson there are 2 times the triple high notes was sang, first by Jin (the first one, and production wise it is placed at the back of the mix a little, appear not quite "in-your face"), whereas the second one is done by jimin with full head-voice. Jin's at 6:36 and Jimin's at 7:10

The crazy high note/yell you heard, it was Jin's voice. He has some approach like this in their other songs too (ex. Rock Jin in Dionysus). Anyway it is nice that you noticed that yell, I think out of all the voice coaches reactions I have watched so far of CS, you're the Only one who noticed it. :) Can you also please react to amy of these, would be greatly appreciated! Someone noticed down in the comments that he refered to Jin's high note as "yelling". I am not a voice coach, but I wouldn't be disrespectful and refer to his singing as a yelling. It was quite impressive and made the song very touching and sweet. Plus it proves once again the extraordinary talent that these young men have, in this particular case, Jin.

Fun fact, the two approaches to sing "ah" is actually an existing thing in Korean. "Ah" with open mouth is the sound for the letter ㅏ and "ah" with a more closed mouth is ㅓ. Part of the reason I enjoy watching vocal coaches react to BTS is bc many talk about sound production. I teach languages, including basic Korean, and understanding better where and how sounds are produced helps me explain pronunciation to my students more effectively :)

I love your reaction videos! I learn a lot about vocal techniques from you, thank you for reacting to BTS' Crystal Snow! BTS is amazing, they are truly great performers. Their voices are always in perfect harmony. But I remember when I was new to BTS, I immediately noticed Jin's unique and impressive vocal techniques and breath control! He's really amazing! One of my hobbies is singing and I definitely agree with how difficult it is to hit a high note without vibrato and here we are, Jin just effortlessly, cleanly, and straight on hitting those high notes and triple high notes. He's absolutely incredible! Not everyone can do what he does, he has perfect vocal and breath control.

I had not noticed that they had a screen with the lyrics of the song and I am not sure that it is that ... but in case you did not realize, this song is in Japanese and they are Korean, it would make sense to have the lyrics of the song song since it is in another language, maybe they have it written phonetically. Yep, you are right that is written phonetically for them to pronounce the lyrics in Japanese while reading Hangul, like our romanization 😅 And yes they use those screens in every show, at least in the avenues that have those things...
