The story of Charles Bradley an inspiring one more than anything. He was born into poverty, worked hard all his life, and worked his way up from the bottom. He sang for most of his life, often while working other jobs, and didn't really make any money or garner any fame at all until about 2010, by which point he was already in his 60s. He died in 2017, but those seven years in between justified all the hard work and sacrifice. He got a record contract, recorded albums, toured huge festivals, got the fame that was long overdue, appeared in TV shows like Luke Cage, and died surrounded by his friends, family, and the musicians he'd worked with those seven years, doing what he loved. And he leaves behind a legacy, a great story, and some of the most amazing music you could ever hope to hear.
