Hi Justin. I am a Dimash Dear and noticed that you have not reacted to Dimash in a very long time😔. I really miss your professional opinions and vocal analysis of Dimash. He has put out a lot of new material from 2022-2023. His biggest masterpiece is The Story of One Sky followed by El Amor En Ti. Please come back to him! I really missed your insights and depth of thought. You are one of the best YT reactors on Dimash. An amazing young man from Kazakhstan singing in Japanese - a language that he doesn't speak - so exquisitely that the man who wrote the lyrics of the song tweeted: "I've heard "Don't go" sung by a foreign singer in my mother tongue many times, but it's the first time for someone to sing so beautifully in Japanese." To which Dimash humbly replied: "I was happy to perform your song. Thank you for your trust and high praise." Dimash is a wonder-a phenomenon-and I appreciate the fact that you appreciate him. But what makes him very special is his decency and big heart. Dimash recently participated in a Chinese show called Shine where he was part of a team. If you want to see how they totally rocked Queen's music "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions", please watch it and a reaction would be great. Keep in mind that these guys have never worked together before, had only a short time to work on their selection, most don't speak English or Kazakh and Dimash doesn't speak Chinese, and not all team members are singers-some are rappers, dancers. This was another very enjoyable reaction and analysis. This is quickly becoming one if not the favorite Dimash performance for me. Dimash sang “Ikanaide” for the Tokyo Jazz Festival in January of 2021 from what looks like his studio at home. According to several native Japanese speakers, Dimash’s pronunciation of the lyrics is nearly flawless. One native speaker, who gave a detailed analysis, stated that he is “expressing Japanese more (better) than Japanese”. Goro Matsui who wrote the lyrics to “Ikanaide” posted on his Twitter account that he has never heard a foreigner sing in Japanese in such a beautiful way. Tamaki Kōji composed the music and performed the song in 1989. "Ikanaide" became the title song for the Chinese-Japanese TV series “Farewell, Li Xianglan'', filmed that year. It is the story of Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a beloved Chinese-born Japanese actress, and singer during World War II, who hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. Following the war, when the Chinese became aware of her Japanese heritage, she was accused of being a spy and sentenced to death by firing squad for treason and collaboration with the Japanese; she had been involved in the production of Japanese propaganda films. Thanks to the intervention of influential friends she was cleared of all charges but urged to leave China or risk being lynched. She resettled in Japan where she would continue to enjoy a successful acting career. In the 1950s, she moved her acting career to Hollywood and Broadway under the name Shirley Yamaguchi but returned to Japan in 1959, retiring from acting. She would go on to become a TV presenter and eventually a politician. She did not return to China for nearly 20 years. In 1990, “Ikanaide” was translated into Cantonese and sung by Jacky Cheung using the same melody. Later, the song was rewritten and translated for Jacky Cheung to Mandarin under the title “Late Autumn”. In 2004 the Taiwanese singer Terry Lin adapted the song into a new version titled "In Deep Autumn", with lyrics written by Daryl Yao. Dimash chose the 2004 Taiwanese version arranged by Terry Lin with Mandarin lyrics for his performance at the 2017 “I Am A Singer” competition but gave it his own interpretation and titled it "Autumn Strong". This song went on to earn Dimash the "Best Foreign Singer" award during the Golden Melody Award in Hong Kong. True Perfection and absolutely beautiful. Love youre reactions. Well he gett us al to cry at some points! I heard many Japanese reactors react to this song with Dimash al of them sayes his pronunsiaton is perfect!!! Also some have saide that they never heard a Japenes song in Japense so sweet and god, I cant remember the exath words they jused but they where al astonished of Dimash first song in Japanese! I just love this song with Dimash and he gives me so muth emotions and also hope in some way. I have cryed many times I lisens to this and I need it to. Dimash is going to be studied in every singing school in the world. Every song is an example of perfect breathing and transition from one genre to another. This version of Ikanaide is the most beautiful and emotional he has sung. The first was in The Singer 2017 in Mandarin with the title Autumn Strong. At the time, I thought he couldn’t sing it better.
