I fell in love with his ability to tell a story, his appreciation of all who inform and support him, his closeness to his family, his love for his elders and his traditions, the way he makes me feel deep in my soul when he channels his pure angel sound, the joy he has on stage. And then there is his range and his vocal skills. He himself considers his vocal range his less important ability.

Hmmmh. Dimash is a story teller. A narrator that places himself inside the the story. They are not distinct personalities thee dynamics are the painting of emotion and disposition; pensive and thoughtful, fraught and distressed, hopeful, tentative, full of joy. I think this is the meaning of his tapestry in a song. He is painting the story from inside the point of view of the subject of the story.

i dont intend to critic.. but it seems to me you pay attention to unnecessary.. i don't think that you try to appreciate what he trying to tell you.. instead you just giving name to each of his voice character.. so to be honest.. you just waiting for another voice of dimash coming out of his mouth. i just hope the next time you react.. try to appreciate the songs too.. you yourself a singer... so you should know how to appreciate the songs if not how can you be a good singer right? ^^ i read the comment below that you can't connect emotionally but for sure it happen because from the video i see you just hear him singing just for the sake of "reacting" and never once you payed attention to the song.. i bet you can't even repeat the word that Dimash sings out repeatedly. i;m saying this not because i adored Dimash or etc.. but i just want to point out that you neglect the song itself. so its kinda sad. And btw dears do not need you to revered him actually.. just appreciate the story he is telling. thats all. any singers sing the song for you to react.. firstly appreciate the song pls.

What about his ability to emotionally draw you into the story of the song using all humanly possible nuances. Your being wowed only on the technical parts. Did you know the band behind him just lost their lead singer. They invited him to perform with them and as a tribute for their loss he composed this rendition. That vocal acrobatic he does starts out with a traditional chant paying homage to the dead. All his songs have deep meaningful purposes that he spends a great deal of time composing to convey the story of the song. In other words he is seriously deep

@@Dileesa so sorry about that you can't connect emotionally to Dimash. You asked why continuing to react to Dimash's songs. Well, he is not only a romantic singer that always perform one way as you said. He sings pop, he even rap at Screaming (kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3PKpph9mcybask). He dances at a Tribute to Michael jackson that is his idol (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXiaf6FtedNmi7c). He sings songs and play a kazakh instrument of the kazakh culture too at Adai and Daididau (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJKXp2Rvh9VpmbM). He does soundtracks at Across Endeless Dimensions (kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5bJeop8nalrl5Y) or Eternal Memories (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnfTZHmKZqmBmpY). He even sings the theme of Power Ranger in China just for fun (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnKWlWuOn5mAa9U). It is funny and tender to see how he connects to the audience at his concerts. Despite all that I think you may not do another reaction to Dimash's song because it looks that you don't like to do that. That is ok. Leave Dimash to us... Hugs from Brazil!

Haha you did only hear some of Dimash skills but he has much more because he is multytalented. And all his songs have a suprise but not all his songs start the same. Dimash can sing different music genres like pop, opera, popera, folk, world, rock and rap. But he has more talents like writing songs, sings in 12 languages, can dance, plays at least 8 instruments, has the biggest range in live performances, perfect mic control, and breath control, has stage presence and can sing with emotion and be a storyteller to name some.

The thing about many people today is they aren't comfortable with music of a more serious nature.... something deeper or more complicated than two chords and a beat. Many are locked into the formula pace, melody line and emphasis. Dimash is not a freak show. He is beyond that. A singer of depth and vision. A true artist. Multi-dimensional...Dimash is like a rich fabric. He has no comparison. He's redefining the musical landscape. It's not just the notes. It's his essence that connects...it's new...it's quality...it's real. Great voices are everywhere. But the majority sound the same. Dimash brings a whole different perspective. A different heartbeat. A different level. What Dimash has....you can't teach.

Dimash is a Musical virtuoso in our time. Dimash Neo-classicism (Bel canto) performance style is an innovation in music, which was very badly needed. Musical performances had become complacent, repetitive and un-interesting. Dimash’ refreshing style entertains the listener, He brings you into the story of the song, heart, soul and emotion. I am glad to be around in a time to appreciate the musical genius of Dimash.

Laura/ British Rather mystified by your reaction. l myself a trained Opera singer studied and sung both in England and Italy, and love all genre of good music, more so in particular, all that pertains to the voice. l have listen to several current Opera singers, voice coaches from all over the world and their comments have been meticulous and educational. Dimash is quite astounding not only for his vocal abilities, but he is a master story teller. Perhaps it would be profitable is you read the lyrics of his songs in English. Also a very beautiful song is; autumn strong, which he learnt in Chinese in one week !! There is no switching of registers etc... just the sheer beauty of the vocal line and the emotional element. He is also classically trained and has an impressive resume in this respect. l would add that not all are attuned to the American culture and style of singing, especially in regards to his riffs, which to me was a very minor observation as a whole. Just some thoughts and considerations. Thank you and best wishes...

If she thinks she already know all Dimash's capabilities let her, she will be surprised everytime like it happened on her previous videos. If she cant understand his music, maybe with time listening to him more she will start to appreciate his style more. SeeliaVachon This is one of the most bizarre and uninformed comments I’ve seen. She clearly enjoyed watching Dimash, not only did she admit that she was quite impressed after thinking that she wouldn’t be, but she also said he was “incomparable” and that the closest comparison she could find was Lisa Fischer. Maybe you don’t know who Lisa Fischer is, but that is about as high a compliment that anyone could give any singer working in popular music, and even more so if you watch Dileesa’s vocal analysis video of Lisa where she spends the whole time gushing not only over her natural voice but her technical skills. In the context of Dileesa’s work here on YT there isn’t any higher compliment that she could’ve given him. Some of you Dimash stans are just toxic, if a Reactor doesn’t give him whatever mythical level of praise you think he deserves you start tripping. Maybe you need to take your own advice, if you don’t enjoy watching Dileesa, then don’t watch Dileesa . . .

I’m watching this to get your reaction to Dimash, at the beginning your prejudice was diminishing his talent but, then to top off your insulting attitude as naming Dimash’s abilities to change his voice enough to sound like a different person. You actually had the nerve to name them. How could you top that rudeness off. Then starting to compare his voice to other vocalist who are mediocre compared to Dimash. Then you start squeaking out with your vocals mimicking Dimash. At the end when he goes 22/23 seconds of runs & riffs you don’t mention anything about that kind of talent. I guess your prejudice toward the other vocalist blocks you from being open minded toward anyone else. Good bye so long fair well.

First of all, this is "The Story of One Sky" (official video), as well as "Omir", "Stranger", "Ave Maria", "Be with me". I tried to choose very different works. I would also like to mention the songs based on real events: "Ikanaide" from the Tokyo Jazz Festival and "Daybreak" from the concert in Bastau. And also, of course, songs in his native Kazakh language using national instruments: "Samaltau" at the Tokyo Jazz Festival or digital show, "Daididau+Adai" in Bastau, "Durdaraz", "Unforgettable day" in Gakku.

This is the festival "New Wave" in Sochi (Russia). There was a competition of young performers and concerts of Russian artists. Dimash acted as a guest at the jubilee concert of the Kazakh group "A-studio". Baigali Serkebaev - the author of the song - plays the piano here. It was a phenomenal performance! Superb low notes at the beginning, unreal high notes at the end. And again the oriental tones in the song! Melismа in the finale together with the last "Дай" - 23 seconds! Dimash used kazakh singing technique. Saha people ( Russia) uses this technique too.

Ikr. It will blow their minds to learn just because a singer is dubbed “best singer in the world” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. A lot of what’s most popular today is actually kind of fake because it’s more about being able to fabricate an image, marketability, shock value, trend on social media by following the current trends or whatever

I think you would particularly enjoy the song he sings called “know,” However there are several variations and they are all different. Some are just of him vocalizing the entire song, and others with words; in somewhat of what we would call a “scat” at the end that is so amazing. It’s is truly breathtaking. I always think there isn’t anything that could surprise me anymore with Dimash, alas..... I am wrong each time. His voice is perfection. And you have a pristine voice as well 😉

You may like Ogni Pietra (Olimpico), an inspiring opera duet (aria?) in Italian for the olympics and perhaps Kazakhstan's independence day. Written by Igor Krutoy for Dimash. The orchestration is not traditional, but more modern/rock style. Love is Like a Dream is also written by Igor Krutoy, but about 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva, then adapted for Lara Fabian and now for Dimash. You can find YT videos of all three and Igor is on the piano for each (aka Love Like A Dream). Dimash's version of it is a little like Sinful Passion, but it has a middle section that is gorgeously delicate. In Russian, so get the captions and auto-translate working. In the music video for a scifi movie, Across Endless Dimensions, he weaponizes his whistle notes. I'm not sure how he did it - maybe you can explain what he did there? Oh, yeah, it is in English. For an extreme song, try Diva Dance (the blue alien song in 5th Element!). His Bastau performance is best. He's wearing a light lavendar asian style suit jacket. There are no words so don't worry about translation.

I think you are giving a reaction not to the song, but only to the performance. I think that it would be more correct if you gave an analysis not only of the voice, but of the song as a whole. After all, a song can be sung in an ideal voice, but at the same time you can’t completely understand its meaning. And there are such singers, and there are many of them! They sing a song like a car, like a robot. Dimash is not one of those! Songs must be sung by the soul and not by the voice! sorry for my english
