The MV is so good, the scene with Doja and the guy playing video games.. when it pans out, you see the buckets filled with water from the leaking roof to visualize the idea of a broken home. And why is it broken? Because Abel is the “homewrecker” and is literally pouring water to wreck their home. And at the end, you see them again without a home but it seems like she chose him and they just have a lot of rebuilding to do.

This one is my favourite from her new album, but the whole thing is one of the best new albums I’ve listened to. Couple fun facts, this song was organically just Doja. Then the Weeknd wanted to collab and she thought this was the best one to do that. Her original second verse is now in the extended version of this song on the deluxe version, that’s right there’s an extended version of this song!!!

It's crazy how much talent she has. And it's not straight in your face which makes it all the more interesting. She can sing, dance, and rap, and what's most important is the fact that she knows how to deliver those talents. I noticed that when Ariana and Grande sing with Abel they “darken” their voice a bit. To contrast with abels voice. in “Love me harder” by Ariana ft Abel, Ari does this. very nice analysis for a first take ,shows how pro you are. It took me about 20 listens to pick up all the insane production on this track to make it smoother - just the opening 16 has so many effects its crazy. You also nailed it with Dojas versatility and her album proved this - the songs are different from one another as she explored genres and from rap to singing. I have a strong suspicion this is a Weekend written song. The extended version rap part proves it is about a guy telling a girl NOT to cheat despite what she tries to rationalize. (comment from original vid by me) the extended version rapping is nice. also this a Weekend song, what i mean it is him explaining he isn't going to ruin a girls relationship because he knows no matter what she says to herself she will be done if she sleeps with him. So he knows this and plays it off. This whole song is a girl edging but the guy has the last say and the say is "sorry girl i know what comes after. Stay strong. Go back to your man"

Yeah there's a lot of nuonses and references in the video. Doja depicted as the scales of balance - symbol of Libra, Weekend depicted pouring an urn of water - symbol of Aquarius. The Tarot cards literally revealing her future on the cards. Weekend being the face in the clouds - God. Weekend pouring water over earth causing a tsumani of water - the great flood. And Doja and her boy drifting after the flood on their bed - Noahs Arch Just love the references like in God is a Woman. The people who make these music vids are crazy.
