But generally in life there are other things that we treasure come and go without saying goodbye like the airplane turbulence scene the lizard come and go. As how I think, the animated young girl is the forever young/memory IU. When she slide down and jump part it's more like recalling memories of having fun and danger where in life nothing is smooth sailing. When the part she jump, you can see the real sleeping IU scene turn red(danger). We know jonghyun love charizard. We can say that lizard charmainder evolved into charizard. Dragon came to rescue, we got each others back. We are each others support. The scene of dragon n plane, in the plane in current IU and suga that's heading to the future/continuing their journey and the dragon and forever young IU (memory) heading to the island that they build. Current IU tears of joy know that she can meet them in that island anytime as good or bad time, memory will be our healing tool to heal ourselves. Overall music and mv are individuals imagination. The impact that brings towards individual listeners are different. I lost my 13yrs dog during lockdown and yet I can't travel home to say goodbye. This songs tells me that I'm sad but I can heal my pain and sadness through happy memories I have with my dog. Life goes on.

IU didn't actually say that. She said that this song describes her life as a 28-year-old (which is part of why she chose Yoongi to do the song; they're the same age). She does this a lot with her songs where she links her age and what stage of life she's in to the lyrics, like in Twenty-Three or Palette. A lot of fans speculate that the song is about Sulli, Jonghyun, and Goo Hara, but she hasn't actually said anything specific about them or linked them to the song at all, so let's not put words in her mouth, please.
