I love, love Juan Grabiel, his composicións and voice are outstanding, he’s the Divo of Juarez, of Mexico, but there are other great artists in Mexico too, like Luis Miguel, Jose Jose, Cristian Castro, the late Vicente Fernandez and few more.

When my youngest son was 2 years old, I was trying to learn spanish and started watching Querida, the novela. The theme song was Querida, 30 years later my son loves this song. He would lay next to me when this song came on at 2 years old and would sing it. I love this song, so much!!!

DonVon: I never thought speaking a second language was a bad thing, I´ve been speaking english since I was 9 or 10, even though I never thought of going to the US. I did live there for a year in 2007, because of my husband´s health (he was a retired Navy CPO). I took french during my teen years, for a few months and, though not fluent, I think I can get by in a french speaking place. I also speak a little portuguese, but doubt I´ll ever need it. I just wanted to understand some songs. I am more than happy to live in Mexico, but that doesn´t mean I can´t learn another language just for the sake of it. I am glad I heard your comment (3:40). He is supposed to have died in 2016 in L.A. but there are people who say this is false. Because the day after he died his body was traveling to Mexico City... 😒 they say this is impossible due to US laws, the body would take several days to be delivered to the family. The relatives say that when they saw him sick they called 911, but it has already been investigated that there were no calls to 911 from his house. The death certificate does not exist... They say that he lives in a small town in Mexico, getting old without worries.
