Ich weiß zwar nicht, ob sie hier glücklich würde. Der Kulturschock wäre schon ziemlich krass. Man stelle sich bloß das andächtig lauschende Publikum gegenüber dem in der Music Hall vor. Aber auch ich wäre froh, wenn auch nur eine von ihrem Schlag in Deutschland existieren würde.

@@thopas8889 ich dachte auch eher für einzelne auftritte oder nennen wirs fans farmen. wennmich überleg was ein freund an geld bekommt in einem irish pub, und der kann kaum singen und die gitarre ist amateurniveau. wie du sagtest . sowas gibts hier nicht. wir könnten auch nie eine show machen wie your face sounds familiar kids. man muss ja froh sein wenn man genug findet die gerade aus laufen können... überzogen ausgedrückt und die würd sogar bei rock am ring gut ankommen also andächtig lauschen ist da nicht. und es ist dort kostenlos. da wär bei uns die hütte voll nach 2 od 3 konzerten

She's more busy with raising her child, once her son is old enough she will accept the offers, she refused multiple opportunities including Singer 2018, World's Best etc. Her mentor is Gary Valenciano and his influence is Massive in the industry, and he tries to get Katrina to join so many international contests, she's pretty much always the 1st option but she refuses them because she wants to be with her son 99% of her son's childhood.

She literally went through her entire range with pure ease. I'm convinced that Katrina definitely has a third lung obscure in her body somewhere. However, notice at 4:38, Rebecca begin searching for her soul after Katrina refused to take a breath. Lastly, the faces that guy was making at 5:55 was hilarious; he was totally having spasms.😂😂😂😂😂

It's like this....Katrina's voice is like crystal, while Mori's voice is thick and rich, and Jona's voice is technically perfect. It's not so much who is better, but it's more a matter of preference....for me, it's Morissette, but I am a fan of Jona and Katrina as well.....

No doubt, Morissette has a great voice. However she should be aware, her attempt to grow into the footsteps of R.V.A. causes, that the best she ever can reach is the second place. In so far I prefer Katrina's different - own way.

Thopas888 morissette attempting to grow after regine's footsteps?? I highly doubt that. Mori has been creating her own trademark. Second best? Who's even trying to outbest the other? None. It's just your way of thinking. It's what you wanted to think - Morissette competing with Regine. Duh. Have you tried singing Diamante? Panaginip? Di mapaliwanag? Or Akin ka na lang? What's the common denominator with all those songs?? Are all those songs even sounding like Regine's??? NO. THEY DO NOT SOUND LIKE REGINE AT ALL. Another thing, Just because she's singing someone else's song doesn't mean she is trying to be like the original or trying to overlap the person. Do you even know the word "tribute?" A singer will sing someone's song as a way of tribute and not a way of besting or copying the original singer. I love Regine cuz I grew up listening to her songs but I love Morissette too. And Morissette and other singers were very vocal about their admiration towards Regine and how Regine served as an inspiration to them. Who sings better? All of them are great singers but each singer has their own techniques and capabilities. And each of them has their own time to shine. Just support whoever you prefer and stop putting someone down because they don't even harm you in any way. Stop being so pessimistic and soooo 🦀 crabby.

The starting point of any commentary should always be the performance of the respective singer. I therefore rated the comment "..better than Morissette", based solely on the nature of the interpretation, because comparative assessments of vocal abilities on the basis of youtubeclips are utter nonsense for me. In so far I could agree with Dan Sannadan because Katrina's version deviates, massively from all other interpretations of the song. Something I value in a positive way and never could detect by Morissettes renditions of songs Regine has sung before. Of course, as a non-Filipino-speaking European I admit to be more focused on English-language performances. In terms of these songs, Morissette's renditions are strikingly similar to the way Regine presents them. Not for nothing is this similarity often referred to by vocal coaches. This is the basis of my conclusion that Morissette is moving very much in the footsteps of Regine. Considering the CD quality recordings of both singers, I can not see how Morissette could reach the level of Regine. This is the basis for my statement that Morissette will always come second only on this path. If that's what she wants, then I have no problem with that. There are many great singers. However, there is only one Whitney Houston, one Barbara Streisand, one Sarah Vaughan and one Regine Velasquez. To become an extraordinary singer, everyone has to find his/her own way.
