It’s funny how she has always been obsessed with disco. I remember her cover of celebration in 92. I think she would have loved to be an disco goddess in the late 70s.

She was real Beaty in her 17... Do the locomotion and other early stuff was really good and still rocking. Not bad at all! Ofcourse her sound has changed during the years, but what else expect. Ever green Star definitely.

I don’t understand why people criticise Kylie for her vocals? She has such a recognisable timbre and she plays within her range. Live she is a different experience, positively.

She may not be on their level. She is a very good vocalist nonetheless, yes vocalist not a singer. She makes poppy tunes and often does not get credit for her technique, which is above average. Same goes for cher. BTW i love kylies positive attitude. She is much more than a ditzy singer.

Not always on the same page as Kylie with some of her single releases but this is her best effort since All The Lovers. Say Something actually peaked at No.11 on the UK physical sales chart top 100 last week. Agree with some of the other comments about the need for a slightly longer chorus (one part is not too dissimilar to Better Than Today); that said, still a quality track. The new album will go straight to No.1.

awwww smiley kylie. she always gives me a warm fluffy feeling in my heart, like a white kitten playing with a ball of wool or a sugar-dusted soft cookie or laying in a warm bubbly bath . she is so good natured and still a pop princess after all these years. i grew with her music and her musical career is the soundtrack of my life. i love some of the looks and shots in this video. that opening scene with her on a thicc ass glitter horse looking like a cosmic diva, is iconic. instant classic. the production team and director behind the video did an excellent job, as did the song writers and of course kylies dulcet vocals.

Kylie's vocals are fab as always. This track to me gives off a heavy '70s new-wave vibe, doubled down on with its Mixolydian mode (the flat VII was a really popular "thing" in plenty of '60s and '70s rock/pop). Those who cite I Believe In You for phrasing similarities are probably right too. I like this one. :)
