i think with this song, instead of trying to make their voices match with each other, they are highlighting their contrasting voices. Like Gaga is more like vogue-ish, broadway voice, while Ariana is that airy, light voice. this is an example of when 2 artists collabed but not sacrificing who they are and instead worked around it together to make a bop. selfish in a way, but that selfishness is a collaboration, intention, and consent from each Ariana and Gaga. this worked well, REALLY well
