Ariana’s backing vocals and adlibs are to die for. The way she layers them. And the tone and depth of them is sick. Sometimes that many vocals stems can be overwhelming and make a track sound over done. She literally stacks on top of stacks. And it fits perfectly and she’s still able to keep her lead/main vocal line in-tune. She’s amazing. HER PRODUCTION SKILLS ARE SICKENING.

Amazing to see you react to Ariana again!! ❤ I get so many hate comments under my Ariana video of people being like " She just screams ", " She can't sing ", " Nobody is gonna remember her I 10 years " and so much more and it's just so frustrating because OBVIOUSLY has an outstanding amount of talent. You don't have to like her voice or music but you can't discredit her singing / musical talent. I literally had no idea, although I’m not surprised, that she was this involved in the knitty gritty of the arrangements and production of everything. Whenever I think she couldn’t amaze me more, she does. She’s so beautiful, kind, humble, and best of all respectful with the people she’s working with. She’s not your typical pop “diva” at all. You need to start reacting to 90s R&B particularly brandy where Ariana was super influenced in terms of layering vocals. Also respectfully black women in R&B have been executive producing and vocal arranging and layering vocals and leaving air in voice foe 30 years which was never done in pop. So I think it’s important to give props where it’s due and to who the originators are of this style of signing. Don’t get me wrong I love Ari, however I recognise that part of why I love her music is because t reminds me of all my favourite singers and R&B artists who Ari has said are her vocal influences.
