I like Lady Gaga. Even people in my age listening to her songs from her first album like Poker Face, Paparazzi, ... love her acoustic version of those pop, EDM style music! Every acoustic version of hers are legit, EVERY! Her pure tone without background music is so powerful and juicy.

I definitely hear those "artifacts" and that show is notorious for doing so in post. I prefer vocal imperfections, especially for Gaga, because they convey much of the intended emotion.

I'm a regular follower but I still can't catch the artifacts despite you pointing out the exact words...would you mind doing a video of showing us the differences? E.g. a comparison with vs without so we can identify better. I'm not trying to point fingers at singers but would love to be more educated on this. Thanks a bunch in advance ❤

To be honest, they really wont care. I'm not a memember because their basic member doesnt give access to the videos early but is bundled with the one take submission, and cost more than any of my streaming platform subscription. But I'm assuming you guys dont ever get to request song either or if your request are even considered at all. This is actually the same issue with how jadi was making video about people expecting them to " do homework" first. He made a video addressing it with various excuses like saying it was deliberate because it waa how they meant it to be, to be an actual first review. But eventually he slipped and said that it was because this isnt their main income source, and its something they do casually. Which really is they dont bother catering to anyone's request or suggestions. He even said if you want to know more about it you should read it yourself. I wasnt one of those who criticized that even though I do agree they having more knowledge would make the vide better. Because rosette often asks stuff like what's the singer influence, or the age and all that. And those informations affects the her assessment of the performance. Not to mention the reason pdolle want them to do mor homework is because rozette is asking these questions not the audience watching the video. They couldve done a live video which would make the first reaction even more honest and they get audience who definitely ate more than willing to answer questions she has about the singer. But they dont do that. And honestly everyone only cares about rozettes reaction, and jadi or one of behind the camera people can actually read up on it first but they dont want to do yhay either. It's a such a shame because they get so many subs in a short time, clearly one of the best reviewer, but they really didny out their effort into it. That song for ZhouShen" you're ruthless" was one of the most highly requested songs youd seenoften in comments in many videos, but they didnt bring it out until 1 year later I know youtubers create video ahead of time but their uploading sequence seems a bit random, because they d be reviewing someone weve only just see them review buy from their conversation they actually already reviewed them. Not to mention if you notice a lot of times jadi haveny seen the video either, which means hes not even the one picking the performance to review. So it seems liek they really are just casually doing this like they ate just watching a video together with rozette in front of the camera. I've also mentioned what you said, about not beig able to hear the artifacts they are mentioning, and I think so have other but they honestly dont care.

lady gaga has said if it is up to her she would never sing auto tuned, it is said that for most latenight show the production enforces the vocal edits

Oh my God, listening to you talk about this performance. I literally felt the same thing as initially when I first heard it I knew that there were some tuning, but I love her and I know that she doesn’t need it. And I have 100% that same idea about Gen Z versus I am a millennial. I feel like there is slowly art form dying because people kind of like the simple basic singing type. that is why I love gaga so much is because she really is still a vocalist 100% but it’s trying to make it mainstream while still uplifting true art and I think that we are going in a different direction where mediocrity is kind of applaud and it makes me sad that people don’t appreciate the Lady Gaga because she is 100% one of the best vocalist of our generation hands-down up with Céline Dion.

I don't hear that level of autotune in the album track. I believe the production used because it's a TV performance maybe as well as she moves so much in it.

I love it when Lady Gaga goes raw, but wouldn't really hurt if she explores tuning, since I know that she can really sing live. But wouldn't prefer her doing much of it, maybe in concerts but not too much.
