I think she is one of the best (if not the best) voice of our generation, she is not only a singer, she is an incredible performer, she sings jazz, pop, she plays the piano, acts, dances and I could go on...like wow man, she is so versatile. What a level of artist!

This might be the best vocal coach reaction I've seen on KZbin in terms of very clearly describing the way she is creating these different colors in her voice. Thank you for that insight! This song will be challenging as all hell to get right, especially the distortion, but I think you've helped me figure out a starting point to lay a decent foundation. This makes me wish I had a great vocal coach to work with nearby. 😢

Her voice has NEVER sounded so pure and clear and in control, her jazz standards and the work she has put into being vocally ready for all of that as often as she does has really improved the tambor of her voice and ability to control her phrasing. Just fantastic. Best vocal live I've ever heard her do. That Key change at 2 mins or so? I wish a bish would!

She performed with the Rolling Stones. Performances of her song Do What U Want (particularly at the artRAVE)... she can do it alllllll
@flippineck2825Ай бұрын
The verses are her inner monologue, her cries/chorus is her voice as she cries out loud. The song is incredible. You know when you have all the thoughts but all you can do is slowly build up then burst out crying and the words are just "I feel so crazy" "I'm in a bad way" and then you circle back into your inner voice in your head just going over the situation before crying out again

Theatrical voice - L.Gaga is able to emote feeling(s) of the song by vocally partitioning the musical space. I've only heard the hook/title of the song on radio, in the past week. First time hearing the whole piece. It's great and well executed by L.Gaga. L.Gaga is one of our treasures, and we, esp. musicians, should not take her for granted. Great analysis by Jaron. I learn something new every time I watch his channel. LIA - Love It All!

@flippineck2825Ай бұрын
The most impressive thing about Lady Gaga is that she doesn't do riff upon riff for the sake of riffing to show off her range or agility. She doesn't need it because she has the foundations and body of her vocal absolutely on point. I find singers that tend to go off course, lose melody, or can't emote all resort to gymnastics to distract. Occasionally you can have someone who can do both, but their emoting isn't nearly as nailed as Gaga's
@yebostephen630728 күн бұрын
Resorting to gymnastics is not necessarily “to distract.” Every performer has what they rely on when they are singing. It is called having a style and singing for your voice.

I LOVED this performance. I LOVED Jaron’s analysis. I love listening to experts like you teach us about singing. ❤❤❤ It’s so frustrating to read comments from idiots praising a mediocre, at best, pop singer and throwing around terms like they know what they’re saying. “Her belt was iconic!” Ummm, no. Hey Jaron! I just found your channel and it's great! At 09:07 and other parts where I noticed she has a "darker" sound, I noticed she lifts her tongue to her hard palate, which is similar to how deathcore vocalists do to create a darker/meatier scream 🫢 she does it in 10:26 and 10:31 too if you zoom in! It's an quicker transition than dropping the larynx when singing I suppose 🤔
