I’m glad Lauren is getting some more recognition, using a good platform to spread the gospel in a fun, upbeat and modern way

She IS NOT spreading the gospel, she is corrupting it (ala the industry) and you are buying into it. She refused to refute homosexuality. You don't get to believe the way you want if you follow the Bible. You can still love them as human beings but don't be fooled into believing they will be saved unless they change.

G. T. Void Lauren is spreading the gospel more effectively than you are right now. It’s people like you that scare away non-Believers. Who are you to judge if Lauren is spreading true gospel or not? If I were you, I’d cheer her on and trust that God is moving in her life. I’m cheering for Lauren 🥰

G. T. Void careful brother. I encourage you to look to scripture more before stating your OPINIONS as if they are God’s. That’s a dangerous road. And perhaps you need to be reminded that you can love and SHOW LOVE to people even if you disagree with their choices and it doesn’t mean you are endorsing what they do. Pretty sure my God commanded me to love others as He loves them. If they’re good enough for Christ, how can you be above them??

Spot on analysis as per usual. I love how Lauren Daigle has evolved over just a few years, really leaning into her unique vocals, and exploring creatively with them. As far as another artist with uplifting messaging along with unique vocals, I'd love to see your response to Brandi Carlile's The Joke at the Grammy's. Her live performances are always stellar.

G. T. Void It is you who is a part of the corruption of the message! We as Christians are called to love before anything else. It is Christian like you who corrupt the mind of other Christians and make them believe that it’s ok to pass judgment! Are you refuting drunkards and drug abusers when they come into your church? Or are you just picking and choosing what to refute based on what the typical Christian believer is refuting? Maybe think before you speak or write on a public forum. You never know who’s watching!
@prmike22
@prmike22 5 жыл бұрын
G. T. Void in cases like this I think of the story in the Bible about the prostitute who washed Jesus’ feet her tears and dried them with her hair. The people sitting around the table were confused as to why Jesus would allow this because of her identity but Jesus viewed it as true worship onto him. We gotta stop being like the people at the table and be more loving and accepting like Jesus!! We all have a seat at the table!!

@Daniel Christiano I have found that I have no intention that I'm judging her faith or anyone's. That's between Lauren and God. When I met her, it was awesome. She loves the Lord so much. God knows what's on her heart and mind. I'm not God and judging anyone isn't my job. I heard a pastor at a Calvary Chapel church say that just because we don't Worship God in the same way, then we as Christians have no right judging them. He also said that if we as a Christian is wanting to blame anyone.

Great critique! I'm from the same part of the world in which Lauren grew up, and I can tell you that her use of the "w" in "child" is quite common in speech down here. We South Louisiana Cajun-types rarely finish our words with hard sounds. For example, we say, "caw" instead of "car." Even when we do pronounce the "ld" in "child," it sounds like "chowld." So, that bit of stylizing comes quite naturally to soulful Lauren!

Just found your channel through this video review of Lauren Daigle's song " Look Up". I agree about what you said about songs that are deeper in meaning and uplifting. I have liked an indie singer/songwriter named Alexz Johnson for years. She is one of those artists who writes meaningful songs. If you want to check her out, one of her fun acoustic performances would be found by searching Alexz Johnson acoustic pool. She, her brother and another artist perform one of her songs, "Look At Those Eyes" standing in front of an indoor pool...it's a really interesting performance. Of course you can always find other amazing performances by her out there. Just wanted to say I learned a lot watching your video and will definitely watch more.

I'm going to check out your Online Singing Course. Lauren, I absolutely love her. Her lyrics are simply amazing, and so anointed. They speak to my life. Lauren's doing a kinda' Roberta Flack thing with me, you know, singing my life with her words. Only not 'killing me softly', but lifting me amazingly; by showing me God's love for not only me, but for us all, as we go through this 'valley of the shadow of death'. Father is telling us, 'Look up'. Thanks again, Tara.

Recommending you review Danny Gokey’s “Just Haven’t Seen It Yet / acoustic “ video. Another person like Lauren that lifts people up with positive inspiration in today’s troubled music world.

I knew exactly what you were talking about with "rejected" every time I hear that song I am like that sounds so distorted nooo! lol That specific one just bugs me! Love your content and learned so much as a choral singer who hasn't been taking lessons since college! Very refreshing, will be watching more; subscribed!
