Although the winner of "The Voice of Poland 11" grew up in the US, his family comes from Poland. The singer's parents left for North America during the communist era. Krystian Ochman's grandfather is the world-famous opera singer, Wiesław Ochman. Born in 1937, the tenor has a great international career. The Pole has performed on the largest opera stages, incl. at La Scala in Milan, Metropolitan Opera in New York or Opera Garnier in Paris. For his services, he was awarded, inter alia, The Gold Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis, awarded to him in 2005 by the Minister of Culture, Waldemar Dąbrowski. Krystian Ochman won the eleventh edition of "The Voice of Poland" in 2020. In the finale, the participant delighted viewers with his debut song "Światłocienie", which was considered by many to be one of the best singles in the history of "The Voice of Poland". The song went platinum. After "The Voice of Poland", Krystian Ochman's career gained momentum. In November 2021, the singer released his debut album "Ochman". The album reached the 6th place of the best-selling publishers in Poland. The album includes, among others the songs "Great titles", "The Thieves of Imagination", "Prometheus" and the hit "Światłocienie".

I don't know why people think it's similar to Duncan. Just because it has falsetto here and there? Duncan isn't the only singer in the world who uses falsetto in his songs. Also there is no possibility of one song being 100% unique. There are so many songs in the world, that a certain song may sound similar to the other. It's completely inevitable.

I really like it. It's such a good song, and his vocals are very good. I think if he sings it as good as he can, and the staging is good, top 10 guaranteed. I reccomend watching the live, because the issue you mentioned was that he was sick during the National Final Performance, but he still did an amazing job

Hey now, don't you be giving away my agility medal haha! But yeah, very pretty and scenic song. Very emotive vocal. And Ochman is obviously gorgeous, which is always a bonus extra. Since we're viewing this in the light of the Eurovision contest and not as a standalone release my only critique would be that it's very obviously produced to emulate Duncan Laurence's "Arcade" sound and vibe. But it is well executed and incredibly tasteful, so I can't be mad at it. Looks like us Dutchies will need to hand over the crown to Poland!
