Think it should win on visual alone. It's rare that we get to see something new on TV these days. This was fresh and as far as I'm aware, never been done before like this.!! It's a demanding performance, no wonder he was out of breath!!

Totally! Enhancements of all sorts in the studio and at VEVO performances. Live, he usually uses an auto-tune mic, not allowed here, quite obvious. No vocal technique what-so-ever!

Hey im an expert...Yeah right! Olly did a fantastic performance, anyone knowing Olly will know he can sing well. It bugs me well people criticise someone singing whilst movement and dancing is involved too. The production and staging value was second to none on that stage . However, the tellevote shocked everyone with not one point ....so why was that, kets hope they will look into why that happened, as his performance, staging and camera photography was made with the tellevote in mind.

Olly is undoubtedly the best this year. He has great charisma. I don't care if they didn't recognize it. He was not harmed by this. Both the costumes and the dancers are the best.🙏🙏🙏☺️☺️☺️

The most brilliant staging, unique and so very clever, the fact Olly sung his heart out whilst performing, losing his mic pack and yet not missing a beat is huge qudos & can we shout out to the dancers who were incredible. Not sure who you were watching when you say this wouldn’t have qualified and was the worst so far🤔 but it can’t have been the same performance we all saw😮

I love it. He's not a powerful singer but he emotes well, and the breathiness doesn't bug me. The way he sings the last "take my hand" really grabs me.

Is it the best song? No. Did it really deserve zero televotes? No. Does it deserve all the hoo-haa about the sexual nature of the dancing? Maybe, but also ask that of the women wearing very clingy clothing writhing around on the floor or seductively stalking towards the camera

Same here; classical background. I've been re-educating his Ollygans since the Madrid pre-party. He has no vocal technique what-so-ever! He 'teached' himself to sing in this very weird, cartoon-like, register, where he doesn't belong, can't project, has no reserves and falls flat on every note. Falsetto is not for everyone, I always say ... I admire his songwriting skills, and he is probably a very nice guy, but he's totally dependent on studio 'enhancements', auto-tune mics and his backing vocalists. His speaking voice is normal: a baritone; nothing special. Karen Carpenter used to say: "The money is in the Basement", referring to her voice. He should use that!

This performance gave me instant absolute cringe goosebombs, and I was debating with myself whether it was just a dislike of the song - or whether he was off and hurting my ear. The recorded version sounds a ton better - and now your comment feels quite validating. :)

I agree it's political, and there's a hell of a lot of block voting, but Sam Ryder was proof that if you try and put some serious effort in you can do extremely well despite all of that. Olly's song was just crap, and his performance was repulsive, not appropriate for a family show.

I'm from the UK and don't like this performance. I don't like the thrusting dancers, I don't like how it's so overstaged and Olly doesn't need to exert himself. The song is infuriatingly catchy though and I like some of Olly's other stuff, but this feels like it might be the low point of Eurovision on Saturday.

Horses do courses! I felt this was the best UK entry in eons. Everything about it - the track, the musical production, the synth work, the vocals, the choreography, is flawless. Arguably the over-sexual, seedy set might put some off, though.
