Sia uses a form of Sign Language called "Pigeon Signing"....it is a more simplified form of 'ASL'. Kinda like using Slang words in the English Language (American English, NOT Kings English). I absolutely adore Sia and her Voice! She has a beautiful Soul and a great sense of humor and Wit! If I could meet ANY of my favorite Singers, Sia would be at #1 (my band makes fun of me because I am a 'Metal Guitarist', and Sia is the ONLY Pop Genre Artist I listen to). She has a lot of Medical issues and deals with constant excruciating pain. Her and I share that comonality (except my issues are thanks to an IED Explosion in Afghanistan, which broke my back in 5 places....L2 - S1 Vertibreas). Many people think Sia is rather plain looking. I, on the other hand, find her AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! I love the Voice Cracks and her amazingly fast and tight Vibrato. I would love to have her sing "Little Black Sandels", while letting me touch the sides of her throat...I want to feel what she is doing with her larnyx, and throat muscles, to acheive what she can do. I know she has done many performances for Gay/Lesbian groups, and I have heard her say ,"I am a huge Queer"...Now, I don't know if that was just part of the performance or not. If you are thinking, "Sounds like this guy is In Love with her", you would be close! Since I don't know her personally, true Love is something that can't happen (unless you are some freakish Stalker....Which I am definately NOT). I do have a great respect for Sia and all she has been through (and continues to go through). Now, Should she ever reach out, I would cherish the chance to really know her on a personal level.....and come on, be honest, what man wouldn't love to have her sing them to sleep?

I’ve been in love with Sia’s musical genius since around ‘97 when she first started to get solo music out there. Though I absolutely adore her modern talent, there’s nothing like her first few albums… a markedly different style and such pure emotion the likes we rarely see in music of today. Hello, an amateur singer here. I dont think Sia's special voice has nothing to do with technique. I mean, she uses so many tecniques to "play" with her voice and make it reach where she wants to reach but, BUT, she has a gift, so simple and plane. One can have it or not, but that gift cannot be learnt or teached. She doesnt act or make stupid shows, she is just honestly feeling every tone that comes out from her voice and sharing it with sweet dedication and selfishness. I cant help but clap and love the beauty of her soul.

I've worked in entertainment for a long time, mostly film but, there are a hand full of special voices and talents and Sia is definitely one of those. Her versatility is amazing, all you need to do is look at some of her early Videos, (Buttons, or Day to soon). But her newer vocals are super unusual and amazing, and showcase her uniqueness. She has 9 Grammy nominations but no wins. I'm not sure exactly why, Chandelier, Alive, Original, and several others are Grammy stuff no question. She has directed a number of her videos and has the chops for that as well. Very much a underrated super talent.

But one day, the Algorithm shoved the Unstoppable lyrics on my screen, and, instead of Rihanna, it said Sia. And, as always, before I write a mean comment, I do a quick google check to make sure I'm not the idiot on the internet. And google told me that Sia is a thing. I was sucked down the rabbit hole. Now I think Sia is the GOAT! Sia's journey with her appearance was riddled with deep-seated insecurity and a struggle with self-worth. She believed herself to be ugly, leading her to hide behind a wig, desperate to shield herself from others' scrutiny and the harsh judgments she imposed upon herself. Yet, within the veil of anonymity, something remarkable unfolded. The wig, once a mere accessory, transformed into a symbol of her humility, resilience, and authenticity. It turned her into an enigma, a goddess shrouded in mystery, captivating us with her music and her indomitable spirit. When she finally shed the wig, it was as though she had bared her soul to the world, revealing the raw beauty and vulnerability that lay beneath, triumphing over her self-perception issues. Her hauntingly beautiful voice alone possessed the power to move mountains and touch the deepest recesses of our souls. And though time may have left its mark, our hearts will forever resonate with her voice. For Sia is more than just a singer; she is a beacon of hope, a testament to the power of music to heal and to move souls, and a reminder that true beauty lies not on the surface of our appearance but in the depths of our hearts.
