Ren Gill, a dynamic singer, guitarist and songwriter, was born in Wales. Known by his stage name, Ren, he came to attention on the pavements of bath where he played with an indie-pop band called Trick the Fox.
Chinchilla is a British singer-songwriter who describes her music as "kind of fiery soulful empowering pop”. She is best known for being the support act on the latest McFly tour in 2021. I've seen probably 100+ reactions to this song, and probably listened to it another 100 times. And someone seems to be cutting onions every time...weird. Obviously the content of the lyrics is emotional, and that is one thing. But this performance is gorgeous even without words. If this was in a language I didn't speak I feel like I would have the same reaction. It's such moving sounds.

Another masterpiece composition from Ren! :) It sounds as if you haven't heard much of Ren's singing voice, so here are a few suggestions that highlight it: "Chalk Outlines" also featuring Chinchilla. I watched an interview with Chinchilla, she said they didn't over rehearse because they wanted raw emotion rather than perfection.

Beth, in case you weren't aware: This song is about Ren dealing with his best friend ending his life by jumping from a bridge. They were both young at the time (early 20's) and Ren really struggled with what his life was without Joe. Ren also dealt with a lot of guilt as he got to the bridge about 5 minutes too late to save him and feels partly responsible.

I wasn't expecting Ren! You should check out his duets with Eden Nash as well. (Or one of my personal favorites Freckled Angels which was dedicated to his late friend Joe Hughes) His library is pretty diverse. If you want to see more singing than rap there's plenty to choose from. (I think you'd really enjoy his work with The Big Push)

Ren is the Original "Bardcore Genre Bender" The Master Bard himself ( Shakespeare ) would have understood exactly where Ren was coming from. Ren isn't just a songwriter but rather a Performance Art Master who blends music and character acting from all the styles over the last 500 years and makes it modern and relatable to all generations even if normally you may not be a fan of whatever genre he is currently performing. I would like to suggest and request you consider reacting to a song by Jack Jones - he is a very talented and gifted singer - a perfect song to react to is called "What are you doing the rest of your life" by Jack Jones (written by Michael Legrand) - Jack Jones was one or Frank Sinatra's and Tony Bennett's favorite singers ever!! He sings with Superb Tone, amazing intonation breath control and is a Master Vocalist with an amazing range!! You'd love his singing - trust me!
