she does the same thing near the end of breathe me in the kcrw performances, vocally matching the instruments flawlessly which takes an incredible amount of technical skill and control to pull off… remember listening to that performance as a kid on KZbin and my cousin who’s a vocal coach in nyc overheard it and asked who that was and said that there’s probably only a handful of people in the world who could vocally match instrumentals to such a flawless and pitch perfect degree that way.
