I can't imagine the thought of a mother abandoning a child from the child's perspective, but I did raise my son when his mother walked out on us 12 years ago. He's 22 now and killing it. I'm so proud of him.
@mig6pie9 ай бұрын
Abandonment is so hard to overcome as a child, I had no idea that he went through that horrible experience, not feeling loved by the very person that you owe your life to is just so difficult, and to gather that as an inspiration is just fantastic

I have to confess, I wasnt a great fan of them in my youth.But, as you age your musical tastes evolve and mature. I find his performance spellbinding actually. His voice is as powerful,vibrant,rich and warm as it ever was.The feeling comes across that some event resonated with him in the past and he's able to express it in song. It's a tour de force.

What do you think of his microphone technique? He reminds me of Sinatra in that video with how he used the mic as a visual prop to give a big performance. But something that struck me as strange was that he kept his thumb over the top of the mic, partly masking it. Didn't seem to have much effect as the vocals were very clear.
