Momoland technically isn’t a “one hit wonder” they are still fairly popular but their song BBOOM BBOOM went crazy viral in 2018 and that’s what blew them up. Everyone danced to that song when it came out. It had a wacky MV, easy to follow along hand movements, and a very addictive beat that just stuck in your head. Good songs by them would be “Bboom Bboom”, “Baam”, or “Thumbs up”

A lot of them get lots of views cuz of how pretty the idols look or how attractive the performance is in general so most of them will not be vocal based IU however is a vocal QUEEN you have to react to her sometime

If you like iu I suggest her 2017 mma performance where she sang through the night + dear name. towards the end of the performance, you'll hear and see different people start singing. Iu invited these singers who aren't known and usually sing backup for street performers and just haven't had the chance to shine on the stage so they could get the recognition they deserve. Iu always thinks about others in any situation which is why she's so beautiful inside and out

you said something about v being unable to dance before but thats the case with most idols, they audition as a singer, rapper or even actor and they have to learn to dance later on, examples would be: rosé blackpink: auditioned as a vocalist, youngjae got7: auditioned as a vocalist, yoongi bts: auditioned as a rapper, jisoo blackpink: auditioned as an actress. etc.
