The album 'Layover' by Kim Taehyung (V) is absolutely a no-skip album. I highly recommend you listen to the whole thing from top to bottom as V intended. You will love it! Hidden gems are 'For Us' and 'Blue'. Don't miss them.

His album is short but perfect. It's totally a vibe and it's great to play together because some of it is very short. It's a creative work of art, the way I see it versus just music. He did MVs for every song and you should check them out in order. He wanted to paint a connected sort of picture with them. Lots of room for interpretation.

Sam, All 3 songs in this tiny desk is part of his solo album called Layover. Every live performance is different for all these songs. Also for slow dancing the saxophone part is a flute in the original song, there is also a piano version and in IU’s Palette he did a guitar version. You must check out the band session version of slow dancing on Bangtan TV where he plays the Saxophone at the end. Also Sam, you should check out his live vocals in a behind the scenes when they were filming Black Swan. They were goofing around but V sang Nessus for an and a song from a musical. The vocals are a chefs kiss and it’s just him messing around. This was way better than the first video you reacted to for bts. Also V’S LE JAZZ DE V where he did 2 jazz standards are a must as it’s your genre of music.

All BTS members are very talented but my vibe is same as you, Taehyung is my bias for his beautiful, sexy , deep and soulful voice. I love his style of singing and music, he is very honest with his elections, he doesn’t pretend a big successful, he only makes the music that he feels and represents himself. I hope one day he shows his own songs because his unreleased songs are amazing. He has a bad habit of showing us small parts of his songs, one or two verses, and then forgetting them in the confusion of his computer 😂. I hope he finally shows us his work as a composer and songwriter, which will surely be fascinating and amazing. Taehyung/ V never leaves indifferent. He could so easily have gone down the more popular route but stayed true to himself and made the music that he loves (as have all the members with their solo work). "Charming" is the perfect word for Taehyung. There's just something about him that's very charming, endearing, almost elfin in a way. He's a unique character and I think a lot more sensitive and intelligent than he was given credit for in the past when some people dismissed him as "the weird/mysterious one". And obviously, a VERY talented vocalist. BigHit was so incredibly lucky he wandered into that audition with a friend in 2011.

Sam, In the album "Layover" their are 2 versions of this song I believe the main song has flute and the bonus song has piano. Tiny Desk Concert is an NPR tv show which made a deal for licensing for Tiny Desk Korea. It premiered 8/25/24. V is the firtst K-Pop Idol to perform on the new show. I believe this episode also aired in my country, America. V/Tae went on several Korean shows and Japanese shows performing live to promote his album "Layover". He was able to perform every song on his album. It is worth seeing every performance. He also has an MV for 5 songs except the bonus"Slow Dancing" piano version. If you are interested I have links to most if not all of these live performances. They are fantastic. All the sets and lighting are really cool and compliment the songs. He is such a great performer and musician.

I know absolutely nothing about singing - just know what I like. I am new to ARMY, but the thing I love about BTS and all the members individually is how much they project the joy they get through performing their music. It is contagious! I am not a rap fan, but I have listened to and enjoyed some of Jhope, Suga and RMs solo music. You never listen or watch them perform at any time with anything less than 100% pure enjoyment. You don't see that in many artists out there today.
