This is the song/video performance that got me introduced to The Rose. Then I watched the full show and fell in love with The Rose. Woosung has a presence on stage that is mesmerizing. when he sang with Suga in Snooze his voice was haunting, his voice here sways with the music. incredible. it is like the tone is slow dancing off one way then another. their main vibe, (the rose's) is eclectic, soft rock, experimental at times, very alternative. wonderful.

I'm seeing The Rose in Manila on Jan. 26th! And I hope they play this song. Woosung's voice has a lot of nice texture, he has this little breathy intake at the end of high notes. This song was originally sung by Lany, but I believe this is my preferred/favorite/better iteration.

This was the song that introduced me to The Rose. I was instantly captivated by Woosung's voice, his body language and his expressions which made me feel the song more intensely, like it made me think he wrote the song from his heart even though its just a cover. Anyways, been a fan since then.🖤🌹 Also, I love belle's song, I love the uplifting lyrics (thank u for rooting for me) and the "to" part is really adorably awemazing🤩

Woosung sang this when he was on Superband a Korean tvshow with different musicians and singers that make up different bands and compete together, i really liked the show very creative but sadly it didnt get fully translated but it has many cool covers and original songs from it (The Rose was already a thing then it was just something Woosung did). Hopipolla was the band that won btw. Season two was really cool too with female contestants compeating also and "Legends never die" cover on it was amazing.

I do like peoples’ description that he sings in cursive❤ 😅 and Johnny’s BREATHY FUZZ has been added to my lexicon now😂.Loove this song…so laid back and vocal focused. I will also join the throng in alerting you to FORESTELLA’s Immortal Song performance broadcast on the 6th January ‘24 ..they were guests on a special episode called Kim Soo-Cheol and NEW FRIENDS …he is a legendary guitarist , composer, conductor, singer, etc who leads them into Queen’s THE SHOW MUST GO ON performance and there is also a rearrangement of Hijo De La Luna for 3 voices as their bass is in the military til May ‘25. Their tenor soprano Kang HyungHo aka PITTA, his rock persona , also released an m/v of a song he wrote and composed called Wave on the Sea for a new movie called Noryang: Dead Sea currently in cinemas in Korea … remember we said they perform in different genres both as Forestella and as individuals…this is a chance to see them in another light and as a trio and HyungHo as a solo artist. Interestingly, he has collaborated here with a traditional instrument musician Park Daul(DAWOOL) who is a member of KARDI a band formed on a show called Super Band (same as The Rose) where they took 3rd place. Really hoping to see a reaction on all of these in the near future.

I think they started doing pretty much pop music and went towards indie rock , pop-rock. Also they started singing more in Korean and now most of it in English. They are a band that love playing life and in this last couple of years , since the guys came out of the military service(all but Woosung, he's American citizen) they were almost non stop on the road ,Asia, North and South America, Europe. Touring with their albums and doing lots of festivals between.

I’m going to see them this month. So excited for it. They are the only other Korean band that I’ve gotten into fully after BTS. This is actually a cover , it’s not their song. I’m an army but I love the rose, woosung voice is one of my favorite male voices ever, there's something special about it. Watching your reactions I can’t help but think that I would love to see you react to another K-pop group, a girl group, named mamamoo. They are known for their amazing vocal performances, and like woonsung and BTS they have some of my favorite voices. If you do react to a live performance instead of music video first. I think Woosung brought something a little extra when he covered this song, which was originally by LANY. The video you reacted to is actually not his best live performance of this song, if you ask me. During his solo tour, he was in Vancouver, and he performed it onstage during his concert, and THAT is my absolute favourite performance of his for this song. You might want to watch this in your own time. His hand language in this performance is so great, even better than in the video you reacted to. I love The Rose and Woosung's lead vocals especially. Since I know you will continue to explore The Rose, I am going to give some other recommendations although it is likely to delay your deep dive into Zhou Shen. I have been exploring Korean bands in addition to idol groups as a result of BTS. One of my favorites has an amazing female lead singer. The band incorporates traditional Korean instruments in their rock songs. Their name is Kardi and they met during a TV show looking to put together a band. Kardi did not win but has been rocking ever since. The lead singer is Kim Yeji. She has the most amazing raspy rock voice harkening back to singers like Pat Benetar. She also sings a variety of genres on her own including jazz. You can see some of that when she performed and won Korea's King of the Masked Singer. The only women to win multiple times are her and Sohyang, another amazing singer you need to check out. Check out Kardi's cover of Legends Never Die and their performance of Tears of Mokpo on Immortal Songs 2. Immortal Songs is a show where current singers reimagine classic/traditional/famous Korean songs. Amazing show. I recommend that you check out the duet by Kim Ki Tae and Seo Eunkwang from the Idol Group BTOB singing FATE. Their vocals are AMAZING! Eunkwang is a master vocalist and his high notes in this song is incredible especially when offset by Ki Tae's raspy husky tone. Sohyang also sang on this show and her rendition of Arirang Alone will make you cry.

I’m surprised no one’s mentioning this (I apologize if I missed it!) but ILYSB is actually an original song by a UK band called LANY! I loved them back then. They have 2 versions: an upbeat pop version, and a slow simple mellow version that Woosung sang here, so it’s Woosung’s cover of that version! I’ve never listened to Woosung/The Rose outside of Snooze (Agust D)! I’d be curious to hear your reaction to the studio pop version of ILYSB compared to the thinned out version here!

My favorite Korean band, besides BTS. I really enjoy their music (or here, their cover) , they are labelled as "K indie rock band". Soft melodic rock/:pop rock, no mater how you named it, it's beautiful Lol ! Woosung's voice is, for me, the key attraction factor, unique, very mesmerizing.
