Zhou studied dentistry in Kharkov, but he transferred after a year to the Lviv National Academy of Music and studied bel canto. Zhou Shen sings very beautifully in Ukrainian. Shen Shen and Tan WeiWei didn't know that the family who inspired this song were present until after their performance.. And to think that the first song that they heard was sung by them. (The concept of the song was from a clip that went viral of the family of three ,selling egg waffles, the parents are both deaf so too was their daughter -around 4 yrs old , who was born deaf. They only afford for their daughter's cochlea implant and hearing aid. When the show was aired, some charity organisation paid for the parents implants) Way back before Shen Shen became famous, on a show Masked Singer, ( he appeared twice, one of a few whose been invitied back for second time),one panelist said if humans didn't have the ability to sing, the first most beautiful melodies will sound like Shen Shen's - an angel's callings. . Alot of peopled mentioned that Shen Shen's voice has been kissed by an Angel

A reuploaded version can be found on KZbin, and it’s this long live stream he does every year on his birthday where he sings fan requested songs, and it gives you a better idea of his personality (even if you can’t understand what he says) whilst getting to hear some great singing! There’s even this one moment from that live that he dubbed over his own singing in a show because the audio wasn’t working. I’d say it’s just around the length of the zhou shen stream you guys did with 12 different performances, maybe a bit shorter

But here are 2 songs with a space theme: "Doomsday Space Ship" and "Cassini" that Zhou Shen sang over 4 years ago. See if you can feel the mystery of space in Zhou Shen's voice. An educational reaction as usual! I'm really looking forward if you guys react to Zhou Shen's interviews too. He is a funny and animated guy and has done many interviews where I laugh my head off (lol). However, if possible, I highly recommend Zach to translate one of Zhou Shen's more serious interviews: 周深 面对面 CCTV13 (it's uploaded onto youtube)

Thank you for your great reaction! Please do a long livestream of Zhou Shen duets. Can't go wrong with any of them but a few of my fav duets are Under Investigation, Rose Boy, Heaven+Big Fish, You Are Ruthless, The Thief. Btw, please react to Tan Wei Wei and Dimash's beautiful duet "A Thousand Miles, A Common Dream". Tan Wei Wei also did a version of Night in Ulaanbaatar when she was in The Singer.

Thank you for another reaction to Zhou Shen! I definitely learned quite a bit. Looking forward to another longer reaction session! I hope you get a chance to listen to some of Zhou Shen's duets with Hacken Lee! They were paired together for a music show called "我们的歌" (Our Song), which is such a fun and great show in its own right with a whole bunch of talented musicians. Every one of their duets are perfect tbh, but my favorite is probably 天下有情人 ("All the lovers in the world" i think is the accepted translation?). Either way, I'm excited for whatever you guys react to next!! :)

Another great morning with Richard and Johnny and now Zach. Love is song and the story behind it. Searched up the interview behind the scenes and found some Eng subs. What a touching story. Love the lyrics and they pulled it together so quickly. This program is so good. The singers are all great, great engagement off stage. Charlie is such a mischievous treasure boy. You can see the other performers all “fall in love” with him - his talent and his personality. He is either singing, playing music on his phone, or joking around.
