siti won her first competition singing aishah's song. and Aishah is a legend. During her early age, she went to New Zealand and had a band called The Fan Club. Siti always adores Aisyah...she even sang Aisyah's song (title-camar yg pulang) during the final of her first ever national singing competition (bintang HMI 1995) and won! she was just 16 yrs at that time. Aisyah is always an inspiration to her.

Late 80's if im not mistaken she started her career in new zealand with a group name aisyah and the fan club while studying law there.. their group was famous back then with such a lot of hits song such as sensation and then she came back to malaysia and started her singing career here..

This aunty is actually so good and skillful. Holding a master degree in science politic from NZ. Such a great singer. You may check her "sensation", old song, no belt i think but i like. Or "janji manismu" which she won during singing competition in late 80s or early 90s, cant remember as i was so small at that time. Not much news about her for last 10-15 years until she's been invited in singing competition "gegar vaganza" which assembled all senior and 'forgotten' singers to be performed in a competition stage.

Aishah is one of the best singer in Malaysia before Siti Norhaliza came into the picture. Aishah is 54 yrs old. During her young days she went to University in New Zealand to study her Degree..She was famous there with NZ Band. Came back to Malaysia and ever since she continued singging and make so many Albums. That was in the early 80 s...Siti Norhaliza starts singging in 1995...thats why Aishah becomes Siti's idol.

Her history is interesting. She started off with a fake stage name - Natasha Aminah bcos her father did not support her singing ambitions. Went New Zealand for studies, attended an audition there and got offered by 2 groups, eventually joining The Fan Club. With hits like "sensation" and "don't make me fall alone", aishah & the fan club broke into the US billboard Top 100. It was a bit of an anti-climax when she decided to give up international stardom... legend has it, she missed home. "Camar yang pulang" and "Janji manismu" were her earliest solo hits. But if you want to check out her melisma listen to "tari tualang tiga" - a classic malay song from the 50/60s.

I can still remember everytime i woke up the day after , i litteraly lost my voice and having a crazy sore throat 😂 good thing it healed in time for me to scream throughout all the weeks! Hi Yazik, she is currently 55 yo. This video was taken in the final of one of the singing competition for senior singers who have been out of radar for quite some times. This competition is a platform for the senior singers to make a come back. Let me introduce you to Aishah. In the 1980s she used to sing with a band called Fan club which was so popular in Australia and New Zealand. She joined the band when she studied a degree in the New Zealand. The band became popular back then and their hit songs used to be in the top 100 US Billboard. Her band and her was also featured in Pepsi advertisement back then. In 1990 she decided to come back to Malaysia and have her career settled down in her own country. She was in her prime in the 1990s. In the mid 2000s she joined a political party which made her to be banned from many TV stations. Her career in singing was almost vanished until she joined this competition in 2015 and she won the competition alongside her junior counterparts. She was the oldest in this competition. After her winning, she made a come back and recorded 1 song but it was never a hit. Her singing got better after the winning as she hadn't sing for quite some times.
