Imagine this; You`r sitting and wathing and enjoying a talentshow on TV, and amoung magicians, dansers, and almost all kinds of talents, some older, some teenagers,and all making there best, and most are quite good I guess. Then this little 7 YO walks on to the stage telling us; "I am 7, and I`m going to sing Billie Holliday for you" - like WHAT???? She opend her mouth and deliverd this performans. Hello Norway, Hello World, I am Angelina. I am not shure if I did breath for a couple of minuttes. I`m not shure my eyes blinked for those minuttes. I do know my jaw dropped like never before, and I could not move an inch during her performans. This was our first experians of this wonderfull young singer. She did this at 7 YO. And she keeps on giving us big surprises all the time whit her stunning performanses. All these emotions she poore into the words and her tones goes straigth to your heart. I have been hoocked for wel over 5 years now. And I know, I will for the rest of my life. And now she is working on her second album. I guess Christmas is comming up. THANK YOU for doing your reaction to this. So nice. I hope you will do the other songs she performed in NGT as well. Love your reactions.

I remember watching this show in the background when I was at work. When she came on, the room when quiet and we just stared at the screen

This video still has that effect on me, even after watching it so many times. She's not just singing the song in a way she's learnt to sing it. She's interpreting it right there and then and presenting it to us they way she feels it in her heart without any intent to impress or show off. She becomes one with the song and invites us to join her on the journey from start to finish.

I remember watching this performance on KZbin a couple of years ago, long after she had performed. I was struck by her stage presence and confidence. I was not all that familiar with the song itself, but I was stunned by her ability to convey the emotion of the song. This past year I began to follow her performances, and I could see that she was very consistent in her ability to convey the emotional content of whatever song she was singing. As she continued to experiment with different genres, it was evident she was in control of her renditions, and she performed them in a way that paid homage to the original. She continues this without the use of vocal gimmicks, yet her voice has a distinctive quality that I never tire of listening to. Thanks for your reactions, you help me understand the vocal methods she uses to weave the vocal magic I simply love...

excellent analysis - the more u find out about anjelina is that she was in complete control of her music from day one. if u watch behind the scenes videos of her during rehearsals it is readily apparent. one fan noted that one of main reasons she is staying independent is that she doesn't want anybody messing with her music. i would agree. thank u for reacting to angelina...

Just so you know, I have watched your videos many times and this one of hers hundreds. She has a quality to her voice that is rejuvenating to the human spirit and could well be the answer to much of life's stress.

They sing the Ukranian folklore in a very very original way. One member of the group is the specialist of Ukranian folk at Kiev university. They are weird, wild but addictive for people that like creativity. The link below is for the song « baby » that is popular.
