My problem isn't having a feminine voice it's keeping it up. For some reason I revert back to boy mode the second I'm not concentrating just on my voice.

Hi Ashley! First of all, I love your voice so much, always have, you exude confidence with your voice. I love Z too. I’ve been getting voice training for a while now. Please, please, please consider more videos like this. I was so encouraged to keep going and not settle but keep going to transform my lovely voice to sound the way I envision, a voice that fits for me.

the resonance with "EEEE" is a good reminder for me!! i sometimes forget about how to get good resonance. but that was a good reminder for me. it's definitely more difficult if there are bad habits formed re: voice. mine was very constricted before watching Zhea's videos and i think once the good vocal habits form it becomes a bit more second nature
@Freak80MC Жыл бұрын
This video is probably really helpful for others, but it's basically stuff I've already tried before. No matter what I do, my voice doesn't sound naturally feminine. It always sounds "off" to me and i keep hoping I'll find some tip nobody has ever shared before that will finally make my voice "click" but i never do. I get really discouraged and have sorta given up on consistently voice training because it's like my voice is in this rut i can't escape from. I really need to see a vocal coach one on one i think, but i don't have the money plus i have huge social anxiety and am self conscious over my voice... Not a good combination of things...

have u had any luck by any chance? i am in the same boat as you and i feel that same dilemma u have where u just feel like maybe someone has a tip that that might be groundbreaking for u so im curious

This was exactly the kind of intro I was looking for! I've tried so many times to watch other guides only to inevitably bounce off them and get discouraged early on because they get very technical very quickly like you mentioned, but this sort of approach is so much easier to process and work out what I need to work on and in what order. Would love to see more of this sort of content if you're up for making it :)

@@maddiesaoirse not triggered. If Zhea helps you then that's great! I just find her a bit pretentious personally and wanted to pitch her sidekick Clover as an alternative to save some folks from the 6 month wait that Zhea has as Clover can be booked much quicker and is a fantastic instructor. That said - Zhea is extremely talented and knowledgeable for those who learn from thinking more than intuition.

Hey. I posted on multiple reddits and researched for awhile now and Iv had no luck. I watch your videos and thought I’d post my question here. Since I’m starting hrt soon. So I discovered kraytom years ago and I took it for anxiety for two years. Got off of it and back on. Got on it again and I’m just trying to find out if taking kraytom while on hrt is dangerous. Like is it no risk at all or is it pretty bad. Iv posted on every trans Reddit and many kraytom Reddit pages. But if anyone knows anything I’d love love love to hear or read some studies.

I have just tried a few phone apps for this stuff, using my camera my voice sounds (atrocious!!!!) normal... Using the apps I can barely break 85hz, and most of the time my voice is so low it's off the bottom of my screen. Oh my god, I'm "off the chart"! Noooooo! I don't want to be! Doing my absolute damnedest I managed to get part of one sentence into a "female" range and ended up sounding utterly absurd like I was being strangled or something, I also wound up having a coughing fit... Is this at all normal? Is it fixable? It's sort of funny in a way, but not good I don't think. I'm still coughing... Crap

@NeilBraun Жыл бұрын
@@tovermoran4360 welp... I've done it now, I kept trying and now no one can hear me, it's hilarious, I gave myself laryngitis. Using the same apps I strangely have slightly higher pitch but I have to yell at the top of my voice in order for them to register. Also I live with a little tiny parrot (green-cheek conure) and for some reason he finds this whole process fascinating. He has a range that's absolutely amazing, one moment he sounds like someone having an argument in the bottom of a tube, and the next he's like a tiny express train trying to get people off the tracks before it's too late. He does most of it through his nostrils. I tried his approach and failed which made both of us laugh. As soon as my voice comes back I'm going to try again, but for now I sound like a really high grade anti-smoking advertisement.

Drew Barrymore is from California and has the classic valley girl accent. She’s been actin since she was a toddler and owned a very successful film production company since age 19. She’s literally worth hundreds of millions of dollars. She’s not on KZbin making feminizing speech videos with no literature or data backing anything up. Think twice about putting others down, I’m sure in your situation you’ve had to deal with a lot. Be kind.
@keptthekissesАй бұрын
Drew Barrymore might not be the best choice to look up to given her Nepotistic privileges and her willingness to break the actor's strike to launch her own show but I get the sentinent and the fact that there's an unnecessarily harsh or at least unflatteringly abrasive judgment in the way Ashley described the accent and people associated with it which could have been articulated with more grace.
