Yo. In this video I go further on last week's concept and show what Neutron 4's AI mixer can do to vocals via ‪@iZotopeOfficial‬Then I take I polish it with CLA Vocals from ‪@waves‬. This duo is a serious dream that makes editing vocals quicker than I've ever experienced... Which is great because editing vocals is an absolute nightmare for me lol. Hope you all enjoy the video!

Did you put a separate instance of the plug-ins on each vocal or did you bus Neutron & CLA?

Yo. If I remember correctly I used Neutron individually, it seems to work best that way. However, I believe I bussed different vocal layers to CLA though for cohesion. :) I’m not sure if I did it that way in the video, because sometimes normal workflows aren’t the best for video, but that’s definitely how I usually do it IRL :)

In what order do you put the plugins in the processing chain?

It really depends on what my goal is. However, my typical chain is EQ - Gate - (vocal rider for vocals or bass rider for bass when applicable) - Compressor - Limiter - Delay - Reverb. Sometimes I swap the reverb and delay placement. It just depends. If I’m using Neutron however it’s generally the first thing in the chain and then I work around it if needed. Hope that helps homie.

And just to let you know, when it comes to Germany and the weather over there, they were a very cold country a long time ago, same story applies to the Holland, which is next to Germany, tomorrow it will be around 35 degrees over here in Holland which is 95 Fahrenheit, so I think about the same goes for Germany, so cold, nope not really that was already a long time ago😉

Unfortunately no :( However, you can tame quite a bit of it depending on which of the three treble algorithms you use :)

I sooo wanted to love Neutron, but it didn't work for me. It squashed the fullness out of the lows on some of my tracks and the articulation (mids to upper mids) on others and replaced it with a harshness from the exciter. I'm glad it's working for you, I'm going to need a lot more convincing 🙂
