Dimash speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. I've heard him in Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, French, Turkish and Ukrainian. His wiki says 12 languages though. He plays several instruments as well. His whole family is musical. His parents are singers, his father is also a producer. They didn't push him into it, they realized when he was very young he could play by ear. He was drawing stages and musical equipment when he was 4. By the age of 5 he was in music school. At the age of 6 he won his first piano competition and the rest is basically history, lol. As you can see, his style is always changing. He sings classical, opera, pop-opera (popera), folk, world music and he can also rap. He is influenced by the greats and has a huge love for Michael Jackson, singing his songs in concert and he can also dance like him. He also listens to Eminem. I can't imagine him driving around singing Eminem. 😄

Hey haven't seen you two react to Dimash in quite a while and you've missed so much. I've just got back to the UK from his Stranger Concert 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan a sell out concert of 28k people in his homeland. He finished his Arnau tour with 3 other concerts this year in Dubai, Dussledorf and Prague. Stranger was an absolutely incredible experience you'll see fancams all over social media. Dimash premiered new songs and sang others he recently released. The main one is a 3 year composition he wrote himself The Story of One Sky, which is an Oscar winning mv and needs to be seen and heard globally. This was a very important piece of work that is dear to his heart, about unity, acceptance of others and most of all, calling for Peace. It is being hailed as a true masterpiece. The mv is incredibly cinematic and is stated as being the most expensive mv of all time. The message is extremely powerful. I really hope you can react to it or at least watch it and share everywhere. The performance of this at his concert was electrifying I think I left my soul on the concert seat! Using folk arrangements like “Sybyzgi”, beautiful Kazakh wind instrument; Dimash skillfully mixes Eastern and Western styles, a bit of Kazakh folklore in between, creating a unique and mind-blowing ending. Shame on Lionel Richie for suing Dimash, a true artist would have nothing but respect for real talent. Dimash is a vocal prodigy. And for haters out there, he has greatly improved his English accent in more recent performances. You missed it when he said wo-ah-ni in Chinese it means "I love you" thats's why they are screaming. I saw him in person in December 2019 t Barclays Center in New York City, it was his first US concert. he sang 27 songs it was magical!!!!

This is one of my favorite performances by Dimash. It is incredible -- vocal agility, stage presence, connection with the audience....he has it all. He took a Fiat of a song and made it into a Ferrari.

It made me smile when you said that this was the best that you heard from Dimash. Well, I can assure you that you will say this many times, in fact, with every performance. There is no “best” of Dimash.... The best is always the one you are hearing in this moment.

In the 2018 version of the annual Chinese singing show known as "The Singer", Dimash was a guest singer and performed "Hello" beautifully! But, waiting backstage to take her turn was Jessie J., who went on to win the contest that year. The rules in 2017 stated that only a Chinese contestant could win the four month contest and Dimash came in a very, very close second. The rules were changed following that contest and opened the door for Jessie J. to win in 2018. Enjoy the Dimash train ride...he never disappoints, something new every time! By the way, I'm 70 years old and have never heard a singer like Dimash. He is the best I've ever heard.
