Dimash is from Kazakhstan. His ethnicity is Eurasian. He began is classical/operatic vocal training at age 5 and has a 6+ octave range. This video is a bit older, and he will be 27 May 24th. He is tall at 6'3" and is also a model, multi instrumentalist. He has had well over 20 years of vocal and instrument training. This performance is barely touching the tip of his abilities. He is a huge Michael Jackson fan and you find him singing MJ music, to folk songs of his home land to rap to opera.... He is totally dedicated to his crafts and loves to entertain. He is quick to say the he is not perfect and once his voice briefly failed him while on stage and he adjusted to another note which is a D8. A note higher than the piano goes.

I first heard Dimash over 18 months ago, just flicking through videos on fb .... I heard one note of SOS and that was it... didn't know what he was singing but every hair on my body reacted . Dimash is moving to the US later this year for his Doctorate studies in Musicology and of course to become more well known in the West. He had a sell out debut concert at the Barclay Centre New York in December 2019 which was a great success (all his full concerts are on KZbin, which are absolutely amazing)! The song you just listened to was in 2018, you should hear how much he’s improved now! He sang this song at the US Presidential inauguration in January. It’s probably 10 times better than this performance, if you can believe that! He is THE greatest vocalist of ALL time. You have probably seen about 5% of what he can do up to now! He sings in all genres and every performance will amaze and surprise you! He’s also a great composer and arranger! A multi instrumentalist (7 instruments) and he’s excellent at playing all of them! After being a Dear for four years, my first thought is that he looks so young here. He was only 22. He's almost 27 now, and believe it or not his vocals have gotten even better. He continues to study to this day. The first time most of us heard him do this was on Singer, a Chinese singing competition for professional singers. I prefer that version because it was a more intimate venue, the performance was heartbreaking, people were crying in the audience, and because we watched ALL of China fall in love with this young man after only one song. Kazakh language courses filled up, every TV program in China wanted him as a guest, and every time he performed in Kazakhstan, the audience was half full of Chinese fans who flew over just to see him. It was like the early years of Beatlemania. In the 4+ years since, he has never once let us down. I can't wait for you to get to Ogni Pietra, but you can react to anything he does. They're all too astonishing for words. I subscribed immediately. It was great to hear a fun and knowledgeable reaction. His register changes really ARE kinda hard to believe, aren't they? At the age of 5 , it was discovered that he has perfect pitch. His parents are singers, his mom is a Soprano. When he was very young , kids made fun of him because he sang very high and they associated him with a girl. He worked very hard to improve his lower register and what those bullies did was only to make Dimash angry and he developed his lower register like no other ! If you want to listen to Dimash's most powerful song that is Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert. The song is full operatic but not boring opera..it's something that only Dimash can come up with. Dimash lost his voice the day before he was about to perform "Daybreak" on the Chinese show "The Singer." However he still managed to get through the song, but apparently lost his voice again shortly after his performance. His Bastau concert version of "Daybreak" is much better as his voice was back to normal. 😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

Dimash Dimash knows vocal technique, that's sure. But he screams and does not respect the diction of the French texts for example that they sing. He does not deceive for long in front of a singing professional. there are many singers who sing better than him. His public does not know them. Good for him

Thank you for your reaction, I enjoyed it! What do I think about how he is changing things up? He's a Mozart. Not a one-in-a-lifetime, but a singular unrepeatable talent. It's imcomprehensible and nothing will be the same again. Watch him working with young singers.... they are all over this and trying to figure it out. Ten years on nothing will be the same, but he'll not only be the first, but probably the best for a long time to come. Maybe always. Everything came together right for Dimash. Born into a performing family, he's literally been on stage his whole life and it shows in his top-notch performance skills. Mom sings opera, dad is a pop singer. Family friends were all artists, and that's the stew that he grew up in. Dimash's piano teacher realized he had perfect pitch at age 5, and voice lessons were immediately add. Being a performer is all he ever dreamed of: when his peers were drawing pictures of cars and houses, he was drawing musical instruments and himself on stage. He won his first competition at age 6 in piano. He has multiple college degrees in music; classical &contemporary voice, and composition.. He's currently working on his PhD in composition. He still works with a teacher and practices 3 hours every day. His drive, dedication and artistry combine with that amazing voice to really create something new. I'm 70, and I've never seen anything close. You've only caught a glimpse of his talents. Sinful Passion, Love is like a Dream, Beautiful Day, Adagio, Madmoiselle Hyde -- or, to see a different side, a cover of Lionel Richie's Hello, his own Screaming (watch the Idol Hits version), his cover of "The Show Must Go On" - or one of his newest songs, Keili Meken. I stick with live versions - he's always electric when he's performing live. Welcome to the wonderland that is Dimash!

Dimash is the G.O.A.T. in my opinion. I hope you'll react to more because he is the most amazing artist I have ever heard. I listen to him every single day and am so glad to have discovered his special talent. Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen, known professionally as Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (plays 6 instruments). He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve different languages. DIMASH's range is every note on the piano and a few off the keyboard. No one I know can do that male or female. His octave range is between 6 and 7 octaves, even Mariah Carey doesn't have that range. Every song he performs is different. He is famous already in most of the world, and has a large fan following all around the world. Walter Afanasieff the composer and music producer to such singers as Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Lionel Ritchie, Andrea Bocelli, Johnny Mathis, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin and many more; has composed a song for him(soon to be released) and signed him to contract to appear in US soon. Walter said DIMASH was the greatest voice he had ever heard. Before Covid struck DIMASH was doing sell-out concerts around the world, he appeared at Barkley Center in NYC on Dec 19, 2019, more people attended than did the Beyonce concert at this venue. 44 of the 50 states in the US already have fan clubs in place. He is singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, dancer, actor, fashion model, and has won many awards around the world. Most vocal coaches call him the greatest singer in the universe.

👉 This is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears. (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight. In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or hear Dimash before and he also had to start first... and after this song Dimash captured the hearts of millions of viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood at his door. The competition consisted of 14 rounds, over 4 months. The jury consists of 500 spectators. With up to 1 billion people see this tv-program, that's generated international interest. The performances were uploaded to KZbin... and so, we became Dimash’s Dears. The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition and go home again. Dimash is stunning. I have heard this song so many times and it still gives me goosebumps. His most recent version that he sang during his digital concert in January is my favorite so far. You won’t be disappointed heading down this path. Simply astonishing and I feel so grateful to be able to hear this voice in my lifetime. He is only 26 years old. So much more to come.

Dimash is from Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is everything....bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor PLUS all sopranos. Not only he can do all these......he is powerful and fully supported in all areas too.....which puts him in different level altogether because it is extremely rare.
